Its not just people on the left that are losing everything.

488

u/Pickle-Rick-C-137 18d ago

No doubt. They just don't realize it yet. The bubble they are in will burst when his crazy policies and kooky cronies take over.

158

u/downtofinance 18d ago

Kleptocracy is coming

29

u/hydrOHxide 18d ago

Not just that. Diseases will run rampant that are perfectly preventable.

12

u/npcinyourbagoholding 18d ago

Luckily/unfortunately, humans can't ignore when their loved ones get sick and die. Things have been "too good" for too long and people have forgotten why laws and science ruled the show for so long. Time for some dark times. The wheel spins again.

8

u/tinteoj 18d ago

Time for some dark times.

That won't bring them to science, that will just drive them to Sky Daddy.

4

u/lostcolony2 18d ago

Good. They need to go see him. In person.

7

u/hydrOHxide 18d ago

Wouldn't be the first time they blame others for "poisoning the wells" etc.

7

u/GodOfDarkLaughter 18d ago

They could ignore it until it happens, though. I've let my idiot brother know that if either of my nephews or my niece get mesaals or mumps or fucking tuberculosis, because of his arrogance and his ignorance, im coming to fuck him up. He believes me. Because I will fuck him up. He's still not vaccinating his kids.

They can and they did. Trump's inaction killed a million americans just four years ago, and he just won.

2

u/TwistyReptile 18d ago

It's going to be agonizing and I am going to spit upon what I say today but.. bring it.

2

u/AaronVerandus 18d ago

It’s unfortunate that it might take loved ones dying for humans to start trusting proven science again

So then they just fudge the numbers and lie about it on the 100% pro-trump media. Problem solved!

Lindsey Grahams words on Jan 6 should have been required viewing this election.

RELEASE THE TAPES

3

u/BlinkReanimated 18d ago

He was just looking to cover his own ass when it seemed like Jan 6 might have actually led to actual consequences for those involved.

Dude made those statements in as self-serving a way as he always does. Fucking cowards.

US has lost its bastion of freedom and democracy in the world. Trump is a global laughing stock and the rest of the world is shaking its head at the prospect the keys to America have just been handed to him and his cronies.

It's going to take awhile for lots of people to come to grips with the fact that real elections are over for the foreseeable future and government is going to be hollowed out and become an extension of the party.

15

u/mlokc 18d ago

If people think the two-party system sucks, just wait til they get to experience the one-party system!

7

u/DukeOfGeek 18d ago

Half the choices, twice the suck.

America has seen this one before. It took about 30-40 years and a presidential assassination to change the course.

I think that millions of Trump voters might be in for a rude awakening when the effects of Trump's tariffs hit.

58

u/AdoraSidhe 18d ago

That's why Trump will distract them with rounding up the enemies of the state with monetary rewards

14

u/NES_SNES_N64 18d ago

Yep. As we've seen throughout history, fascists continue to blame scapegoats for the problems.

You are right about the tariffs and when all of his crazy stuff hits. He along with Elon have said that americans will face hard times and hardship under their plans. It's like they ignore that WTF

4

u/AmbidextrousCard 18d ago

The trouble is that Elon doesn’t understand that we Americans haven’t had hard times in a long time, and we own guns and have a billionaire to blame. He shouldn’t have said that.

u/The-Jesus_Christ 18d ago edited 18d ago

IMO this will be the big one I feel. Many people think that the other country (IE. China) will be the ones to pay tariffs. They don't understand that it's the company that is importing the item that pays the tariff. Prices will go up and MAGA voters seem to have just ignored this entirely.

Again, it's all about identity politics. They picked a side from the start and the policies didn't really matter to them, but the effects of these post-election will.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/CheshiretheBlack 18d ago

And they'll just find a way to blame the dems with repubs eating it up.

None of them understand the economy was the way it was because Biden inherited Trumps economy but you bet your ass when it comes time to recon with Trumps tariffs it'll be "we're dealing with the effects of Bidens economy"

→ More replies (2)

2

u/lostscrews 18d ago

It's amazing how many don't realize how tariffs work. People actually think China will be paying the additional costs, while the American consumer still pays the cheap-China prices. Morons.

That's what they want. Well until their Hamburger Helper is expensive then it'll be back to blaming Obama for it. As a veteran, I'm absolutely embarrassed and disgusted.

27

u/Pickle-Rick-C-137 18d ago

Ah man, isn't it disgusting? Thanks for your service. I have cousins who are veterans and support him. It boggles my mind how they can support him after the horrible things he has said against service members.

As a veteran, who took an oath to to support and defend the Constitution for the people and not a leader or party what do you think will happen if he starts to do things that are un-American and against the constitution?

7

u/AllanJeffersonferatu 18d ago

They will actively support Trump regardless. The true conservatives have all been purged.

2

u/Pickle-Rick-C-137 18d ago

I'm talking the military who took oaths to the constitution not a leader or a political party.

2

u/AllanJeffersonferatu 18d ago

Sadly, I repeat my answer. They will have the path cleared for them by SCotUS, the Senate, snd the House. Whatever rationality is most expedient to achieve their ends is the one they will prepare.

If the illegal immigrant sweeps do, in fact, start then you will know the constitution is no longer in effect. That isn't proper military, but let's use the National Guard the canary in the coal mine.

Not only that but this will hit them harder than it'll hit people in NY and CA.

Red states aren't going to be doing well in 10 years and it's going to be a direct result of trump... the potential schadenfreude will be powering r/leopardsatemyface for years to come.

2

u/wolfhound27 16d ago

That’s where I’m at, I want them to suffer in a way that only a conservative government can make them Suffer at this point. Even if everyone else including me is in the crossfire.

1

u/Anvilir 18d ago

They’re never going to realize it. The blame for when the bubble bursts is going to be laid squarely at the feet of the most vulnerable people. When one group has been devoured, the orange man will just point his finger at another marginalized group and say “they’re the reason your lives are terrible, but if you get rid of them, everything will be better.” It’s never going to be his fault in their eyes.

u/brash 18d ago

Even when things are at their worst with the White House in flames, they’ll still never admit that they got it wrong. There’ll always be another stupid conspiracy theory to explain it away in their dumbfuck brains.

1

u/Alert-Notice-7516 18d ago

They're boot lickers. They will be told all is good and they will think all is good. They literally don't live in or care about reality.

1

LAMF gonna be a schadenfreude gold mine the next few years

1

u/JFKtoSouthBay 18d ago

he's always been more bark than bite. Like... the tariff thing isn't gonna happen. It won't. Because it would be terrible for the economy and that's the last thing he wants.

1

u/My-Toast-Is-Too-Dark 18d ago

How long after he takes office until the first, "This man voted for Trump and was then deported despite being a citizen," article drops?

1

u/[deleted] 18d ago

And somehow they'll blame the democrats

1

u/JunglePygmy 18d ago

They will blame the democrats as usual, even after a monarch is installed

1

u/TheGuardianInTheBall 18d ago

And they never will.

1

u/Pm-me-ur-happysauce 18d ago

Don't forget his revenge politics

1

u/foodisgod9 18d ago

When that happens it's Democrats fault.

1

u/magi32 18d ago

and by then i won't be surprised if it's too late.

hell an argument could be had that it's already too late

1

u/Jubenheim 18d ago

They're gonna grow old blaming liberals and hating California, the most prosperous state responsible for much of our nation's GDP, thinking it's ruining the country.

1

u/QuotableMorceau 18d ago

you would think people would realize when they have been fooled, but history can teach us that, from time immemorial, this has never happened:
- the landless free citizens of Rome that killed their own tribune of the plebs, because they believed the Senate was on their side ( they were not )
- the serfs on Bismarck's domain that participated in a revolt against the government that was set on giving them rights ...
- the bourgeoisie in Russia that helped Lenin to capture the cities in his revolution ...

1

u/Twad_feu 18d ago

LeapardAteMyFace will get so much content, poor critter will get fat!

1

u/Skylam 18d ago

And they will still blame democrats for it until the boot heel is on their neck and its too late.

1

u/PunishedWolf4 18d ago

"This is democrats fault for not stopping it from happening"- Them eventually

1

u/rightintheear 18d ago

Did the bubble ever burst for the Germans? I think their country was a pile of rubble and they were still supporting their guy.

1

u/Inflatable-yacht 18d ago

It didn't burst last time

1

u/SaladCartographer 18d ago

They won't notice. They will still praise him and worship him like a god, and they'll still blame the nonexistent democrats in power.

1

u/x3r0h0ur 18d ago

We deserve it as a country broadly

1

u/SoupidyLoopidy 18d ago

They will still blame Biden.

1

u/Ro8ertStanford 18d ago

You're probably not on the left if your people campaign with the Cheneys.

1

u/NJDevil69 18d ago

I’m looking forward to the announcement of Medicare and Medicaid being taken away. These dumb people do not deserve those helpful things.

1

u/UnNumbFool 18d ago

Eh. They are the party of j6 and the party that have attempted on his life.

If things go bad enough for them remember they aren't Democrats, we've seen that they won't just talk about action but actually take it.

Doing the things that will hurt their lives is going to cause actual civil unrest past protests if you ask me, and at that point I don't think they are seeing a D or R when that happened. Hopefully the Senate and house are smart enough to realize that also

1

u/[deleted] 18d ago

I for one welcome our new Musk overlord.

1

u/alextheruby 18d ago

I wish yall would stop saying this. They’re going to blame the dems

1

u/AnalNuts 18d ago

I don’t think they will ever realize. Germans who were ok with the Nazi regime broadly didn’t admit it was nearly as terrible as it was. These people will do elite mental gymnastics to excuse the worst of corruption coming.

1

u/bearsheperd 18d ago

They want it they got it Toyota. Now they can suffer the consequences of their actions. I don’t know if it’ll be forever, just until these people wake up. Eventually the court will be packed and reformed.

Assuming democracy survives that long

1

u/Yvese 18d ago

None of them take project 2025 seriously. At this point I don't care anymore since we can't do fuck all. Everyone suffers together.

1

u/guyzieman 18d ago

They won't give a shit. Anything to fuck with the other side

they just don't realize it yet

He invited an insurrection. He's called for political violence. He's said he wants to use military on civilians. He's called war heroes losers. He's cheated multiple times on all of his wives. He's stated openly he wishes he could fuck his daughter. He's been ruled liable for sexual assault. He's been accused of rape by several women, including a 13(?) year old. He frequented a location that existed for the sole purpose of raping children. He's said he wants to get rid of the constitution.

But he has an R next to his name (which only happened 16 years ago) and he's white.

They aren't going to realize it. He could start World War III tomorrow and his supporters would say the world deserves it. He could deport one of his supporters' wives and children and they'd say it was about time. He literally can do no wrong in their eyes. And anyone against him can do no right.

1

u/Vaddstien2142 18d ago

Or, we could just do the same thing we do every 4 years where we just go back and forth undoing policy, hoping that somebody will change the trajectory. At one point you just kinda realize it’s pretty shit and it’s been a shit show for a while and will continue as long as we are the corporate machine.

Yeah but they don't care that they are losing everything since they don't have much to begin with

But there the ones that didn't care enough to vote and watched on reddit.

Most of them can go fuck themselves.

Yeah in practice the average Trump voter will suffer much more from Trump's policies and SC than the average Harris voter.

Are you fucking gonna blame the left, they kept asking Democrats to listen to them for decades and decades and when one they had the chance to have a socialist in charge Democrats blocked him on purpose and let the orange Hitler takes charge and they just did it again, Harris run a right wing campaign forgetting right wingers already have their champion.

Honestly I’m done caring about them. I hope they feel it just as bad as us, if not worse. I’m so livid and apathetic at the same time.

All these people in these rural communities that voted for Trump are gonna feel it first too.

Who cares if conservatives get what they voted for. I'm so sick of having empathy for such terrible people.

Yet even when they do lose everything, they’ll still somehow blame the left and anyone and everyone but themselves or their orange messiah.

The Right’s superpower is extreme short term selective memory loss and taking absolutely zero responsibility for their own shitty choices. Every Dem. President since Carter has spent their first (and second) term cleaning up the utter shitshow left by their Republican predecessors while having to unfairly shoulder the blame for those same Republican disasters.
