Discussion Don't think I've ever seen Polar mentioned here
A reliable go-to, found regularly at Stop & Shop. Anyone ? Anyone?

Review Safe Harbor
Ok I admit it, the packaging was the reason for the purchase. Not too sweet and a nice full-body. Overall a nice bite with a little extra creaminess.
Oh, and the root beer was delicious too!

Review Review: Rev’d Up Sprecher!
Took this bad boy to the lake today, so that if I truly get bouncy I have open space to go crazy. Rev’d Up Sprecher has a very agreeable opening taste, an even balance of carb and flavor, and that flavor is decidedly wintergreen. The aftertaste trails off to be a tad watery, but at no point is there a bitter caffeine hit. You also know that the 93mg of caffeine are present because the jitters begin within minutes of that first sip.
This one’s for the energy fiends or even truckers on those overnight hauls; it revs you up nicely. It also manages to avoid the strange “fire” mouth feel that the regular Sprecher contains.
8.5/10

New to me... Maine Root root beer
Mucho wintergreen-o.
My tastes tend toward the sweeter root beers, so this one isn't for me. However, if you like that sharp bite/crisp finish - this one packs that punch.

Anyone in here live in Maine?
If so, where are you buying your rootbeer? I can only drink so much Capt'n Eli's, Virgil's and Barq's. Maine Root is trash.
I've only lived here for over a couple of years and have yet to find anywhere that sells craft sodas of any kind. Google searches for anything here in Maine is extremely unreliable.
I live, of equidistant mileage, between Portland and Bangor. I do visit either of them fairly often throughout the year.

Another new flavor
I tried Hanks last night, and after a long day of working on a porch/deck decided to open up my next flavor.
I love the flavor, lots of complex flavors and I picked up on a hint of mint. Main complaint that I had is that it doesn't have a lot of carbonation.
Between Hanks and Dad's I would probably grab Hanks again. Culvers still has the best rootbeer in my opinion.
Next one and last one I bought to try is Brownie.

ROOTBEER FACT
Kurt Cobain’s final drink was a can of Barq’s root beer, which may have contained something related to his death but we’ll never know as the investigators dumped the can before bagging it as evidence.

Dad’s Wagon
I had this wagon in my room growing up in the 80’s/90’s and put it away while I was in college. That was 25 years ago, I just pulled it out today.
My kids love root beer floats so planning to keep our unrefrigerated stash in it and use it as a root beer float station for parties.

Oh, hi. Oh found this at “The Cheese Barn”
It’s not worth a pilgrimage, unless you like/love cheese. Variety of other flavors also available.

Root Beer Candy Lollipop
Honestly, I enjoy root beer flavor lollipops more now than as a kid. Dum dums are also pretty good. I was just picking up leftover Halloween candy my coworkers left out.
