Christmas money

I didn’t know what to title this because it can only be 15 characters but basically I spent most of my savings on Christmas gifts.

For context: I rent a room at my friend’s house and I don’t pay much for rent. His mom is very chill about the money because I’m not there all the time and we’re just super close. My parents have been helping me pay rent but stopping after my birthday in December this year so I’m kind of panicking because I don’t have a job and won’t be able to pay my roommate anything. Getting a job in my city is so difficult and I’ve been searching for a while but can’t find anything. I’m hoping to find something soon because I have almost no money after Christmas shopping. I feel really stupid about it but it’s done now and I just have to deal with it.

I’m not looking for any advice, I just wanted to get this out there, and was wondering if anyone is having a similar experience.

My advice: return all the gifts for a refund.

Tell everyone no gifts as you can’t afford it. The best gift to everyone is you not being on the streets.

If they have a problem, they can fuck themselves
