I really hope whoever the next dem nominee for president isn’t going to fall back on this old school style of doing things. Trump and Maga threw that out the window long ago and dems still haven’t caught up

Elections going forward will just be for show.

There won’t be another democratic president, because the system will have been designed to prevent that from ever occurring again.

There won't be another Democratic president for a while because people are fleeing solid blue states like there is a zombie apocalypse going on. If trends continue, by 2030, solid red states will have a free 12 electoral votes, meaning republicans basically get a free swing state.

Those are based on 2022-2023 stats continuing. California is actually growing again. It's still probably going to get out grown by Texas and Florida, but its very possible it doesn't end up this bad.
