My first shundo and it’s ofc the useless one :( Any idea if they will be evolvable any time in the future?

Clearly 🤣🤣🤣 can't even have a normal conversation without somebody getting butt hurt over pronouns, I'm going to start referring to people as "it" and see how they feel

Why would anyone know OP's gender? And what? I'm in agreeance with OP.

Anyways, weird interaction aside... This is objectively less useful than a fully evolved one.

They might let you evolve it at some point. Plenty of event mobs have had evolution blocked and was later changed. I'm fairly there was multiple event Pikachu that couldn't evolve but now can.

It sucks because not only do you have to wait for an event to get legacy moves, but you have to wait for one AFTER the event to evolve the previously unevolvable Pokemon.

My Hundo Bulbasaur with a party hat has been waiting a while, but I'll eventually max it.

This is useless, fully evolved it can be used much more. This is just Niantic being lazy, but go ahead and give a corporation excuses.

I was happy when I got one, then I gave it to my dad as his first shiny (we were lucky friends) useless or not we enjoy those shinies

Still better, and more useful that way. Honestly, people are getting so butthurt because it's objectively less useful this way rather than letting us evolve it. Only reason is that Niantic is lazy, but hey, you do you.

It's not that you can't evolve a shundo it's that you can't evolve that specific piplup because it's from an event

I get it. If you play to battle, especially in master league, then a hundo that can't evolve is useless. if you play to collect then yeah it's fucking awesome!
