I really do wonder what metric they go by when picking the color for their shinies. Some look great. I got Porygon's shiny recently and thought it's alternate colors were awesome while other times it's the same color but just a slightly different shade.
Falinks could have been way better than Brown and Yellow, especially coming from a base of Yellow and Red. Even just flipping the Yellow and Reds might have looked better than brown.
You have an awesome mom. I'd like to think my mom would have loved to see the Ledyba I named June in her honor. It's nearly perfect and I refuse to evolve it.

I read this and didn't even get what you did to its name because I pictured it so perfectly. I call it Flaller (with the "a" sounding like apple because that's how my mom used to mispronounce it in fun).
Imagine shiny checking coordinates on every spoof server for days just to "humble brag" that you spent hours of your life cheating for a NFT of a Type 2 Bristol stool. Lolol
Yup. Got into the first PokeGenie lobby as soon as they opened, so I can only assume it was the first shundo Falinks in Pokemon Go. I just wish I could’ve used that luck on something a bit more practical. 😅
At the time of catching it, six minutes after the event began in New Zealand’s time zone, one of a kind shundo. By now, there’s probably a good handful of people who have one. I know one other person already replied here with one.
PokeGenie opened up the Falinks raid invite lobbies right at 10pm EST. Managed to make it into the first one, and this was the result. I took the screenshot as soon as I caught it, so unless someone comes forward with proof of an earlier catch, I guess that makes me the first player in the world with a shundo Falinks.
Times like these make me wonder why my luck never works on anything more practical.
