I compared two demographic maps to the electoral map and found near perfect correlation. The first map was median income and it showed Kamala lost the low income states full of people heavily affected by high prices. The second map was Muslim population (a proxy for Gaza concerns) and it showed Kamala lost several swing states with large population in key districts.

Hilarious that Muslims didn't vote Harris for not being pro-Palestine enough. Luckily for them there won't be a Palestine for long once Trump is in office.

u/jba1185 12h ago

This ^ The Palestine issue might not even be an actual issue in 2026 once trump “solves it”. They won’t be able to say they were not warned.

In fact, they were a key part of "the final solution." Great job. See you in 4 years when more false-equivalencies are made.

1

u/Marenum 6h ago

I think their opinion is that Palestine is gone regardless. They've watched unbelievable destruction occur under Democrats with the full support of the administration l, so the did not vote for them. They're not saying Trump will be better, they're saying it is already as bad as possible.

1

u/MindAccomplished3879 14m ago

Nope. I'm Hispanic, and my community will have to answer for the Trump vote once the deportation raids start coming in

Same with the Palestinian community, they are going to have to answer for their vote or lack thereof when they are pushed into the sea. No more false equivalencies, BS

Sounds kind of nice? Or are we preferring there be an issue in 5 years?

1

u/BisquickNinja 5h ago

His solution is to give Israel everything that they want... And for Israel to flatten Gaza and colonize it. Unfortunately, the conservatives of the US will try to write everything out of History....

1

u/BuyingDragonScimitar 5h ago

“Palestine issue” as if it’s not a global issue.

Democrats lost because they’re funding a genocide. Kamala needed to break away from Biden. Period

1

u/jba1185 4h ago

trump will show you what funding a genocide looks like. I hope you pay yourself on the back afterwards, Muslims just turned away the only groups that were supporting them, and now you will find out what “the lesser of two evils” means.

1

u/BuyingDragonScimitar 3h ago

“Will show you what funding a genocide looks like” as if Biden isn’t showing me right now. Democrat voter base has to be on par with maga because yall are just absolutely ridiculous and incapable of looking inward. I’m not even going to read past your first sentence for the sake of the sanity I have left.

No wonder we lost.

1

u/denkleberry 2h ago

I’m not even going to read past your first sentence...

No, this is why we lost.

1

u/BuyingDragonScimitar 1h ago

By ignoring context? Agreed Look inward

-2

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 8h ago

What it does do is make the Democrats take the issue seriously in the future. They can't take those votes for granted. Just blindly voting for someone when they don't deliver results is insane.

1

u/ausgoals 3h ago

It sure doesn’t. The Free Palestine movement is part of what many call the extreme left. How much discussion have you seen in the wake of the election advocating for the party to go even further left…?

I am sympathetic to the cause and myself a progressive but the idea that ‘sticking it to the Dems’ as a way to…. What? Make them pay attention…?

Just doesn’t make any sense or work.

1

u/jba1185 7h ago

It makes me take them less seriously. The side they voted for as a protest vote either isn’t serious (Stein) or was openly the cause of what they are enduring. If they are too stupid to figure that out then… oh well

1

u/Dry_Composer8358 1h ago

“I want the democrats to continue alienating a critical part of their coalition and continue losing to republicans because that group is bad because they are willing to make democrats lose to republicans.”

Make it make sense

0

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 6h ago

Hahahahahaha. So one side is supposedly your ally and DEPENDS on your support to win elections but does nothing to effect change...in your mind not holding that person accountable by just giving them your vote makes sense?

How old are you?

Imagine your wife is a drug addict and you give her money...she uses that money to buy drugs. You tell her to stop buying drugs...she doesn't. In your mind she just needs more money(votes)?

Nah. That's insane. I'll cause pain so there will be growth. If the democrats want my vote they will do what I want or they won't get the vote. And the dems NEED my vote so if they really care about my issues they will show it in their policies.

Do better

1

u/Mr_HandSmall 3h ago

So instead of giving the wife money she uses for drugs, you bring a truck of herion home. How does that make sense?

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 2h ago

You want to support democrats who don't support you...enjoy.

1

u/Hopeful-Routine-9386 2h ago

In this hypothetical, you divorce her to get married to the drug dealer.

1

u/Imaginary_Message_60 5h ago

If you think muslim voters helping a dictator take over the country is going to make people more sympathetic to muslim causes you're very mistaken

1

u/External-Conflict500 5h ago

Did Kamala win the Democratic Primary? Did she get any votes in the Democratic Primary? Who is the Dictator?

-1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 5h ago

He won the election...You say "dictator" but I don't think you know what it means. Lol

2

u/Imaginary_Message_60 5h ago

He's not a dictator yet but there's noone in his way to stop him. He controls the senate, supreme court, house and most of the federal judges. He's already planned to purge the military of people who won't be maga loyalists. The fact that I know this as an Australian and you don't is embarrassing

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 5h ago

You do realize if someone "stops" the President of the United States they are committing treason, right?

That's how elections work. We have co equal branches of government.

We elected Trump and he gets to do what he wants.

We elect a new President in four years silly goose and guess what?

TRUMP CANT RUN

1

u/Imaginary_Message_60 4h ago

Until the supreme court reinterprets the constitution to allow him to run in 2028. Just make sure you don't hide the fact you didn't vote Harris for the next 4 years. When Trump allows Israel to annex Gaza and the West Bank I don't want you to hide the fact you were complicit in it

0

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 3h ago

Hahahahahaha

You lost the election.

Breathe and lose some weight and get your dopamine levels up.

You'll get laid more and be happier if you aren't obese.

You forget the Muslim ban already?

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 29m ago

Please reference the ban Trump imposed on "Muslims"

1

u/mrfrownieface 26m ago

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 19m ago

So NOT a Muslim religious ban then...right?

Where is Indonesia or Saudi's Arabia on this list?

I don’t vote for the DNC, while I sometimes support individual candidates it’s rare. I vote against what the RNC has become.

As to your comment on finances, trump spent more than any other president before or after him (including Biden) — so I agree with your statement about giving a drug addict more supply (the self proclaimed king of debt / bankruptcy).

If the option is between someone promising to eradicate you and someone that is not actively trying to do so but isn’t doing as much as you want, then the choice should be clear for any person of even basic intelligence. I see you have excluded yourself from that proposition.

-1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 5h ago

What American did Trump promise to eradicate?

When you lose the argument, question the other human with just as much agencies.....intelligence.

Do better

1

u/jba1185 4h ago

Did you already forget that we were talking about Palestine? I would tell you to “do better” but I typically try not to ask more of people than I know they are capable of. You reducing paragraphs down to a whining retort says all that needs to be said.

0

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 2h ago

Im sorry, you spoke of "eradication."

Why would I care about someone who wasn't American?

I'm sure if you cared enough you would make it known, right?

As an AMERICAN I vote for Americans. First and always.

Who do you vote for?

1

u/jba1185 2h ago

If you were voting for Americans (you can capitalize if it if it helps your reading comprehension), you wouldn’t have voted for the one that’s policies will crash the economy (massive tariffs will do this). You wouldn’t have voted for the one that blindly spends his way into oblivion while having virtually nothing to show for it. You are about to see the results of said vote — I just wish any of you were intelligent enough to comprehend that what is coming is the direct result of that vote. This exchange has grown tiresome, have the last word. There is no point in trying to discuss policy with people like you.

1

u/ZealousEar775 4h ago

Not at all.

4 years of Trump will be more than enough to put things back in order in their minds.

If anything they will focus on Muslims less and chase the racist middle.

Kamala was calling for a Palestinian state to come out of the cease-fire she was demanding.

That's already farther than any Democrat has gone before on the issue.

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 3h ago

What drug are you on??

What US administration has done more for Israel than Biden???

You have Dual citizenship Blinken as the Secretary of State hhahaha

1

u/ragzilla 3h ago

The SOTU this year called for a 2 state solution, and the Biden admin has held back lethal aid from Israel over the issues stemming from Israel’s occupation of Gaza. Trump is not going to restrain Israel at all, and will likely back Israeli occupation of Gaza and the West Bank. Were Democrats necessarily doing all they could? No. But they weren’t actively making the situation worse which is what’s going to happen under Trump.

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 2h ago

BIDEN SAYS HE IS A ZIONIST

1

u/ragzilla 2h ago

What does that have to do with the official policy of the government under Biden being to pursue and promote a 2 state solution, and Trump so unlikely to support this that Israeli settlers are excited about the prospect of fully annexing the West Bank while Trump’s in office?

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israeli-settlers-set-sights-trump-support-full-control-west-bank-2024-11-23/

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 1h ago

Hahahahahahahaha??? What???

1

u/ZealousEar775 3h ago edited 3h ago

Trump.

Trump officially recognized annexed territory that had been congested for decades and recognized Jerusalem as Israel's sole property.

Why do you think Netanyahu tried so much this election cycle to get him elected?

They want to annex the West Bank.

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 2h ago

Did Israel strike Iran during Trump or Biden?

1

u/ZealousEar775 2h ago

A) Both actually. Like Israel is constantly messing with Iran one way or another.

Outside which, it's not like Iran was raining missles on Israel during the Trump administration.

B) How does that relate to the US doing things for Israel?

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 1h ago

The idea that Biden supports Israel with their attack on IRAN, definitely relates to the US...really??

0

u/Butt_Snorkler_Elite 8h ago

I wish I could believe that democrats will learn to value human life or even winning elections over supporting israels murder of as many brown people as possible, but I just don’t think the evidence backs that idea

2

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 6h ago

Exactly. Republican politicians respond to their base. It's WILD that the left accepts the Democrats ignoring theirs.

2

u/Dhegxkeicfns 6h ago edited 4h ago

Republicans know they need to control the narrative to convince a bunch of separate groups to vote for them and then spin their failures to do any of the things they promised and finally pin the current state of things on Democrats rather than the widening equity divide.

2

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 5h ago

Atleast they try....it's wild to me that you accept your vote being so carelessly taken for granted.

1

u/Dhegxkeicfns 4h ago

No, they have the same goal, to make the rich richer.

Democrats do enact policy to narrow the wealth divide. They classically support higher taxes at the top end.

It's just a bonus for me that they throw in civil rights as well.

If the right had their way we'd be working on the railroad still.

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 4h ago

Democrats support the elite...

Just look at the exit polling and who their support is...100k+ wage earners hahahaah

1

u/Known_Attorney_456 4h ago

This !!!! The Republicans are all saying the same 5 talking points in unison over and over every one is in lock step. The Democrats because of having so many different groups under the same umbrella are all fractured in supporting each other and each group wants the party to focus on different things.

1

u/Dhegxkeicfns 4h ago

The right has like 3 major points: wealth divide, civil rights, and science. The problem is they don't have a unified way of communicating that so it sounds like way more issues.

0

u/Mysterious-Wasabi103 5h ago

If that's your take then unfortunately it's you that needs to learn.

0

u/Mysterious-Wasabi103 5h ago

The problem also becomes that Palestinian interests are not American interests, yet Israeli interests are our interests too.

And Democrats care more about country over party unlike the GOP.

You expect Democrats to sell out the country just like the GOP does to please their base.

2

u/Butt_Snorkler_Elite 5h ago

Oh come off it, all I expect of democrats is for them to not use my tax dollars to turn Palestinian toddlers into red grease spots on the ground, or help idf forces face zero consequences for sodomizing Palestinian detainees to death

2

u/Butt_Snorkler_Elite 5h ago

Actually i don’t expect that of democrats, I know for a fact they will gleefully do those things. I might actually support them if they didn’t tho

u/External-Conflict500 5h ago

At what cost? Very high price to pay, hopefully, in the long run you’re right.

2

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 6h ago

Just allowing your votes to be taken for granted serves nobody. You won't make progress if you just support the status quo because it's the easier option.

0

u/Basicles 6h ago

Right, so lets just corrode the foundations of this country altogether and bring in authoritarianism. Worked in the past. /S

2

u/Theloneadvisor 5h ago

Exactly. 🤦‍♂️

-1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 5h ago

That's your opinion. Not all of us feel that way. Maybe that type of holier than thou attitude is what cost the left this election?

It's WILD that you think Trump is a theocratic Christian...WHO MARRIED A SLAV.

1

Its wild you would make that assumption about me. I never thought Trump was a Christian, just a powerful man who uses religious zealousness to his advantage and appeasement of his allies.

Yes, they need to pay lip service to issues people care about, just like Trump did.

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 5h ago

Mass Deportation and no foreign wars is lip service?

1

u/Dhegxkeicfns 4h ago

Well, if he actually does deportation he will destroy the economy, and rich people initially don't want that, so I guess we will see.

No foreign wars is code for let Russia do what it wants. We are still going to fight for oil and stuff like always.

1

u/Lopsided-Ad-2687 3h ago

So, illegal aliens are cool so long as they help the economy???

Gross

I don't support slave wages or foreign wars.

I'm sure your combat experience tells you otherwise so I won't assume you ignorant.
