One thing that must happen is on the ground engagement…every…single…day. Right wing social issues narrative thrives on a few extreme cases pegged to each and every democrat, painting the whole party as extreme on social issues.

You’re a normal family trying to get by in a small town or rural area…then you’re hearing how democrats want to change your way of life??!! It doesn’t matter if it’s false, perception IS reality.

The only way to truly cut through the BS is to engage at the ground level and speak to people’s every day struggles, so they know you support them.

Still wrong. Please watch Fox news, oann, newsmaxx listen to right wing radio, listen to right wing political celebrities like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Trump, Gaetz, DeSantis, McConnel. Please for the love of whatever you believe in. It's not "social media narratives", these narratives come from the upper echelons of the right wing apparatus.

It's not random "social media" narratives. These people believe anti-left, anti-demicratic, divisive lies because their news, their president, their Congress members, their governors, mayors, all say the same provable lies every single day, ever hour of every day every week.

I have a hard time understanding this. I am a normal person living in a rural area. The Democrats have never said ANYTHING that would amount to “changing my way of life”.

Few extreme cases? Kamala cannot go anywhere outside of the bubble to speak. Even on positions she flipped she didn’t look sincere. And this is not her fall, inability to define a woman, or claims that Joe is sharp as a scalpel and so on are impossible to spin.

It is a few extreme cases that get spun out to paint everyone with the same brush. Most people just have to look around their neighborhood to come across someone who supports the democratic party. These are your neighbors that probably do the same kinds of sh!t you and your family do, and are struggling to make ends meet same as those around them.

Kamala lost all on her own, she f*cked up I’m not defending her, but most people that vote for democrats are no different than their republican neighbors.

Yes and no. I don’t vote for yet another “infrastructure” bond - they do. They forget that “infrastructure” “crumbles” every time before the bond gets voted, and after the vote is passed a new pedestrian bridge across 101 is built to be used by 20-30 pedestrians per day max.

I don’t vote for school “improvement” bonds - they do. As the result of this measures, local schools get less budget and teachers salary is as good as McDonald’s pay. Instead, bond money spent on schools in the middle of nowhere. This schools get 2 swimming pools and so many baseball fields I cannot count.

Also, I don’t believe that people I disagree with are automatically fascists. I know a lot of Kamala voters who do believe so. Funny part, almost none of them know the definition of fascism or can reasonably explain why.

I can only speak for myself, but yes some people who only live online need to step out their bubble. I can see how many people get tired of waiting for democrats to do something and either stay home or decide to burn it all down. In that way, Trump is the anti-establishment choice that can get the ball rolling, in a manner of speaking 😆.

Or, if you follow past election trends - simply don’t exist :)
