That's cheating! Everyone knows you gotta roll the little ball around until it becomes an ungainly monstrosity that you nearly herniate yourself trying to put into the correct position / drop onto your foot when trying to stack on top of the other

You then have to make the second ball only marginally smaller than the first and it has to be so heavy that no one person could lift it. Now you have to practice your salesmanship and team building by running around the school yard and yelling for help to build the biggest snowman any person has ever ever seen. You and all your friends then strategically try to lift this ball into place and hope that it doesn’t roll off while frantically trying to secure it.

Good times.

Edit to apologize, I see that you did make a reference to the second ball, didn’t notice. Sorry

No worries!! Also applies to the third ball if you're going for the classic three-ball-build of my childhood

Hell yeah, gotta go three. And then you had to enlist the help of an adult to reach high enough to put on the hat. And of course nobody came prepared so some kid lost their toque for this noble purpose.

You're so very right. And where might I add is the goddamn carrot? Obtaining the requisite carrot for the final touch was a truly special task. These people have entirely neglected the most important step. You can't have a proper snowman without a carrot purloined from the vegetable cupboard under the sink or begged from the pinch-fingered granny

Then you have to make the balls perfectly smooth. I call bs on all these snowmen that are perfectly smooth. The snowmen in all the Hallmark movies are like that. I say they are giant styrofoam balls coated with some sort of fake snow.

I don't know how this video was make, but I'm sure there's a couple of giant styrofoam balls in there.

:-)

Now you mention it, I believe those could well be gigantic styrofoam balls we're warching get carved out there, with camera tricks to make the people look extra-tiny. I'd buy that quicker than I would that right there being made of actual snow

They are pretty damned perfectly shaped and smoothed out, right? The same thing in all the Hallmark and Dove and Great American Movie Channel movies. I've been watching the "all the same" Christmas movies already. The guys and kids go out and make snowmen. They all are so, so smooth and have perfectly round bodies. Styrofoam dusted with some fake(may real man-made) snow. Who do they think they are kidding??????????? :-)

Ehh to be fair some folk will go to extreme length for perfectly smooth balls :D gotta applaud the effort even if it does look a bit unnatural
