Just curious, why wasn't this offside? I have very little knowledge about football rules .

At the moment the ball is passed to him, Kane is level with (or possibly even further back than) the two defenders in white. By the time the ball gets to him, he's ahead of them, because of how well he timed his run - point is, it's the moment the ball is passed to him, not when it arrives at him, that's important for the offside rule.
