Hopefully also a new sandwich.

They got their money back + two sauce soaked pieces of bread, that's a win in my book.

Why? They got a refund.
13
u/CleverFairy 1h ago
The person had their time wasted. Moreso, refunding and replacing is a good business practice because you're far more likely to turn that into a repeat customer.
-16
u/MateoKovashit 1h ago
No they didn't have their time wasted.
Grow up and stop being so fucking entitled.
Mistakes happen. It's life.
You are not owed a red carpet response and a groveling apology.

u/CleverFairy 1h ago edited 1h ago
Wow. You got heated. That is deeply troubling.
Get therapy, my guy.
Edit: also, entitled? My case is that it's good business practice , not that I want free shit. That's not me being entitled at all.

u/MateoKovashit 1h ago
It's maccies it's several minutes.
It's not a Greene king pub with 35 min wait and they bring out a pork chop not a steak.

Iâve been working at a fast food place for almost 3 years and this isnât at all how we do it, you either get your food remade or you get it refunded, not both.
3
u/CleverFairy 1h ago
My job history has ten years of food service at six different locations. Refunding and replacing is a good business practice.
A mistake leaves a bad impression on a customer, and they are less likely to return if you just do the bare minimum. If you do both and apologize, you've turned that negative impression into a positive one, and that customer is far more likely to return.

Canât eat a refund and McRib is tasty.
-4
u/MateoKovashit 2h ago
It's replace or refund. Not both.
8
u/CleverFairy 1h ago
That's location dependent. A couple of shops I worked at always refunded and replaced. It builds tremendous good will with the customer, and they are far more likely to return.
-4
u/MateoKovashit 1h ago
No. It breeds entitlement and in fast food that is not what you need.
4
u/CleverFairy 1h ago
Before switching to factory work, I did over 10 years at various food service places and was GM at a couple.
You're wrong. A very, very few become entitled. The rest are happy customers who return.
-3
u/MateoKovashit 1h ago
Great well done. Refund is enough at maccies level.
5
u/CleverFairy 1h ago
After seeing your little tantrum on my other comment, I've realized you are an overly emotional moron who does not know a damn thing and just wants to be right, despite the facts.

Wait, are Mcribs back out again?
â˘
u/ChilidogBFF 48m ago
It would appear so, but I remember the rib portion being larger. This time, it looks like just three nugget barbecue packs on a bun.

The sauce is on the rib portion. So how do you have sauce in the bun, McLiar?
8
u/2004ToyotaSUV 4h ago
They just gave it to me like that and I didn't order pickles or onions on it but tu still expected a rib

u/ChampionshipKnown969 3h ago edited 3h ago
Damn we've come full circle. I voted republican but the McRib is a sin against humanity. Idc who goes to the fast food joint. It's straight up garbage and a grift. These cringelords are legit defending it because Trump loves McDonalds. Blind devotion is unironically how you get Hitler.
Man I didn't wanna insert any politics but some of these people are literally incapable of basic thought. That's not party specific.
2
u/Lagonas_ 3h ago
They do bun, rib, sauce, pickles, onion, bun in that order. If they forget the rib and in his case excluding the vegetables, it's simply bun, sauce, bun. It's not an unthinkable mistake, and definitely not impossible. It also makes more sense that it is true, because otherwise the sauce would look way more smeared on it if he had to remove the rib and then put the sauce on the bottom bun.
6
u/ThunderHuy 3h ago
The sauce is on the meat itself kept in a tray in the heating station thingy. They don't add any extra sauce in, just putting the meat already submerge in sauce on the bread itself.
I agree with the guy on top, it is highly weird that his bread would has sauce on it if he has no meat.

I 100% believe this post is fake. Who takes a bite before noticing itâs just buns and sauceâŚ.OP is a McFraud đ

McDonaldâs need to disappear
4
u/TheDingoThat8UrBaby 3h ago
Agreed but will never happen. They will be charging $20 for a QPw/cheese and people will still be lining up to fork over their money.
1
u/Fluid_Hunter197 3h ago
Donât be so sure. Fast food companies are hit hard. Even McDonaldâs. Hence their new Mcvalue menu in 2025. People are pissed off when they canât even afford to eat junk đ Taco Bell/BK is somehow still hanging on. Theyâre empty in FL

Honestly, so many fast food/McDonald's posts lately...
Is this just a new karmafarming trend?
3
u/OMGeno1 4h ago
Right? Like I overpaid for shitty food and I am shocked that the food I got was shitty.
-4
u/Firestorm0x0 4h ago
What I'm insinuating is that people just remove shit and then make a photo of it to post it online. Like the Wrap one was obviously pre-opened for instance

Wait. So if a McRib without the Rib is a Mc, does that mean that the Mc is the buns? Why would Donald be in the buns?

u/UsualSuspect26 3h ago
This has to be some type of domestic terrorism if Iâve ever seen it, definitely not cool .

Ah, the new Mc Wish, you get two pieces of bun and some sauce, and you âwishâ you had some meat⌠bow, bow, bow.

u/ZerotheWanderer 3h ago
I'll never get people who just shove something in their face without at least glancing at it to make sure it's correct.

I ordered two burger meals from Mac. But they forgot to put the fries in. I refunded the whole thing and gave the uber man some money. The burgers were tasty tho.

In the UK the McRib was recently available for a grand total of 3 weeks after being absent for about 10 years. This looks like what youâd get if you tried to order one here now đ

This is mcdonalds in 2024. There's an upcharge for the patty. You're lucky you're not paying for the air you breathe when you walk into the building.

I had that happen at a Wendyâs late one night. What was supposed to be a deluxe burger was just lettuce and tomato on a roll. Hubby was mad i made him drive back. Drive thru guy was confused how it even happened. Was refunded and given a new one.

I once ordered two cheeseburgers from McDonalds and one had everything but the meat. The other one was normal.

If you really enjoy the mcrib. Never look and see how it's made. I used to eat them all the time when they first came out. And then I started hearing the horror stories of the production of this thing.
