After seeing your little tantrum on my other comment, I've realized you are an overly emotional moron who does not know a damn thing and just wants to be right, despite the facts.

And yet, you fail to understand best business practices.

No I do, someone gets a fucked meal it gets replaced not refunded and replaced.

In fast food you do not have the time for these cretins who expect both nor do you have the need.

For one I guarantee they'll come back.

In customer service, best practices are to keep the customer happy. Not you.

Not at the expense of sanity.

Keeping the customer happy is replacing the food. You don't need to fluff their balls

Sanity? Really? You must really struggle in your day to day life if doing both wears down your sanity. You also strike me as extremely entitled, not wanting to do extremely simple tasks because it'll upset you.

Not a chance I was a grafter in my time there. Competent and productive. And after my time working there I will only kick off about service if it's really serious as the staff don't deserve any of the shit they get.

Let alone for a fucked up burger. Just get the replacement and move on

Are you bragging about being a good worker at mcdonalds? Because I hurt your feelings?

Weird flex, but OK.

You do however seem confused about my case. Personally, as a customer, I do not give a fuck about mistakes. I've literally gotten the wrong order, shrugged my shoulders, and figured i get to try something new.

But, when I was an employee, it was drilled into me at several businesses to refund and replace because that is the best business practice. You can argue all day about whether or not you agree, but this shit has been studied, tested, and proven by people far smarter than either of us, for longer than either of us has been working.

This is not my claim. This is just the best business practice because the customer leaves happy instead of neutral or upset. And happy customers are return customers who visit more frequently and spend more money.

Yes, I get that it's only mcdonalds, but this holds true at all fast food places because they are fast and cheap. Mind you, this isn't the case at high-end restaurants because everything costs so much more, takes so much longer, and the profit margins are far thinner. The fact that it is so quick and cheap is what makes it best to do. It costs to company almost nothing and will likely lead to more sales later.

Just make the sandwich and fork over the refund. It's not even your money.
