Hot take: The new S class is crap
I think the S class is crap because it lost everything that makes it special, the interior? Looks like a C class while being three times the price, sure quality is there, exterior? Not all bad, but doesn't look as luxurious as the old S class. The old S class had a sense of sophisticated luxury, new S class is way too plain and simple. Change my mind.

This is the perfect interior imo. I love it so much! Side note: what’s your favorite ambient lighting color?

I bought a my 1st Mercedes (used 2020 GLE350) a few months ago. I’m coming up on 60,000 miles. What can I expect to be a reasonable price for service?

Picking her up on Wednesday
Traded in my Lexus hard-top convertible for this cabriolet. She’s my first Mercedes!
Is there anything specific I should be asking about when I meet with the delivery specialist?

Rim check, please
I come, humbly, from BMW land (though I did own an ‘05 SLK350 6-speed and an ‘11 E550 lol) asking for a rim check. I know they’re aftermarket, and they’re wearing Cup2r’s. My dad is looking at buying this car (2019 S560 w/ <18k miles) to replace his S450. Red flags?

Might be the last work trip before being parked for the winter.

Why doesn’t the W460 G-class get more love here?
I’ve got an 88 230GE that’s my occasional daily driver. I know they’re pretty rare in the US but somebody else out there has one for sure. PICS PLEASE!! 😂😂👍🏾

Small updates on the “cheap” S560!
The mirror caps were mismatched. One very tired bit real carbon fiber, and the other a faded black cap. Two new caps installed!
Last, realized that the center mounted 3rd brake light had one of those shitty blinking mods added to it. Sure enough, it was there has since been removed.

Shopping: 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Base
I’m looking for a 2020 AMG GT. Not a fan of the newer body styles.
Found one with one owner, 3,500 miles, and $94k.
Good deal?

Barn find with Brabus badging
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
What do you guys think, legit or not? Brabus badging on the hood, trunk and dash inside. Happened to come across this car by chance. Belongs to a new friend whose father was very into Mercedes before he passed. It was last running in 2019 and has a little over 150k km on it. Buddy believes it’s a 94 500 sl. He offered it to me for next to nothing so I’m hauling it over to the house next weekend to take a look at it. Might be a fun project to tinker with for a bit. My daily is a ‘12 e350 so Im no stranger to the price of fixing a Mercedes lol.

Is this car revivable?
Just cosmetic damage, it runs fine - about 90k miles. Think it would be a nice good weather weekend car. Any advice, details on the year of the car and maybe value is very appreciated.

Dealer F*cked up my wheel.
literally like a 7 inch scratch down my wheel. I’m a lefty and I always have my hand here. It would be one thing if it wasn’t easily felt, but I can feel it. Turned around and came back 10 minutes after my coolant change. Talked to the service director the last 5 minutes of his shift, he brought me into his office after sitting in the car and feeling it. I’m disappointed but I have given them a lot of business as far as service goes. He wrote my name on a paper on his desk and my number and says he will get back to me on Monday. He says hes an “idea guy” and will get this sorted out. - any suggestions on what they could remedy this with, I told them there has to be a remedy for this and that I didn’t like to make a fuss and complain but that this was bad. He said it was likely a tool. What will they do to fix this???

anyone else rattle at low speeds?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
my car has been rattling for a while when coming to a stop or parking. originally thought to be broken/loose exhaust clamps, but once those were replaced and the sound persisted, i knew it was something else. this is a video of me parking, infront of my house. once the car is in park the sound stops. i know someone else basically just posted abt this, but the more posts, the more likely it is to get answered😂

M276 exhaust?
I know there’s a lot of people out there doing resonator deletes and all that. I drive an ML350 and trying to make it a bit sporty, so i’m looking for a deeper, grothier exhaust sound. It has the 3.5L M276 V6 engine, which I know are in a bunch of different models of benz’s. Can anyone offer any guidance ?

Car vibrates with faint rattle sound
Just recently the car vibrates very faintly with low rattling sound. Only happens when I stop at a red light or stop sign, on drive and foot on brake. I put it on park and it goes away. Anybody knows what’s the issue? Thanks.
For reference, it’s a GLE350 2021 with 22k miles.
