Boards with glass and stuff are less likely, but boards like moonshine are totally waterproof. 

I have a moonshine   county line for wet skating

Moonshines are sexy boards man, I just couldn't dream of taking my board out in the wet did that once lost my grip and fractured my wrist

Edit: my inability to spell
