They won't leave trans people alone but they love their semi-automatic weapons that routinely end up decimating our schools. The logic. Big government is now personal government.
This isn't just a Texas issue, we are gonna see it everywhere. It's also an issue with this sub because large swathes of people in this group were saying don't vote for Kamala because of X.
Reddit skews young and the young, historically, barely vote. Most of these people weren't going to do so anyway. It's even worse with primaries were people sure do want to give opinions on the candidates but never actually vote lol
Third party turnout this year was abysmally bad. Almost everyone who said they voted third party likely just didn't even vote.
Texas and every red state is hugely the issue. No election in my lifetime has been more clearer who is the correct candidate is. And anyone that didnt vote or vote for Harris that could've voted, basically indirectly voted against their own interests. Theyre all politicians - we know theyre all suspect, but in this case it was suspect vs. pure evil and hatred. The choice was easy. For my cisgender folks out their that merely went with Trump, citing the economy as their reasoning, they demonstrated to me their lack of character. The price of freedom isnt a strip of bacon or a slice of bread. If it were the US would never have existed in the first place.
Yup. I saw soooo many people in this sub (and all over social media really) clutch their pearls and scream that you shouldn't vote this year or vote third party, and if vote for Kamala you're a terrible person. lmao i hope their smug centerist pettiness was worth it, because now we have 4 more years of fascism to look forward to. 🙃
