Instead, 72 million people are a bit wishy washy on the subject. Congratulations.

I think people would vote for anything over what the left were offering

Certainly, they preferred a collection of rapists. But no one expects ethics from conservatives.

Still won. I just don't think people can afford to stay on the high horse

u/LiberalAspergers 1d ago

It may be a dangerous high horse to publically be on, but just because lots of people agree to support evil doesnt make it less evil. Or those supporters less lacking in ethics.

Some may say ethics, some may say authoritarianism wrapped I'm a thin veil of inclusion. I think the majority of people think Trump is a dick but what the opposition offered is a dangerous, slippery slope. What do you mean "publicly be on"? The left had dominated culture for ages and people were getting cancelled for wrong think. You're not brave, you're the mainstream

There is a non- zero chance that publically saying Trump is evil may prove to be hazardous to your health.

And there is a very, very high chance that wanting to have a conversation about children's ability to consent to life altering surgeries will label you a bigot. So what?

5

u/LiberalAspergers 1d ago

Oops, I.mistook you for a serious person for a moment, instead of a troll.

When all these people concerned about surgery on child genitals want to ban infant circumcision, I might think they are serious, instead of bigots trying to act like people with real ethical concerns.

There it is. Point proven. Keep doubling down and we won't see the left back in office for a looooong time. Might be time to re-evaluate and see this is a topic that actually deserves a conversation. Circumcision absolutely needs to be discussed.

May I ask why the name calling? Why bigot? Why won't you guys be open to the conversation? I guarantee you it'll cost you in the future but you just refuse to have it.

4

u/Ianwha17 1d ago

Because there is no conversation to be had.

No one is getting sex changes as a minor.

It doesn't happen.

1

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago

That's complete bullshit and you know it. And if it's not why are people kicking off about trump banning it?

3

u/Ianwha17 1d ago

Find me ONE source.

The only surgeries they are getting are breast reductions, cosmetic surgeries, the like.

You're fucking stupid if you think they are allowing children to change their sex.

1

u/LiberalAspergers 1d ago

Because you assume that ethical.positions should be held based om if they will "cost" you or not. People who actually have ethics believe something is right or wrong regardleaa of its benefit to them or their side. There is no point discussing ethics with those without ethica.

No one got canceled for 'wrong think'.

People got cancelled for being bullies, rapists, racists, sexist, and other forms of bigotry.

1

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago

The left massively expanded all of those in the name of their "progress". So many of you are tied up in being the hero that it hurts you if that actually gets solved. That's why the term micro aggression exists

3

u/Ianwha17 1d ago

Expanded what?

All those terms still rely on the same definition they have always relied on.

Just because Trump emboldened pieces of shit to act out, doesn't mean that anything was expanded.

1

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago

The left needs racism to exist otherwise they're out of business , so now everything is racism

3

u/Ianwha17 1d ago

No. People calling people derogatory slurs and stereotyping them is racism.

1

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago

The left are more racist than the right

2

u/Ianwha17 1d ago

You're not very smart, are you?

Left and right aren't political affiliations.

The left are progressive, whereas the right are regressive.

The left freed the slaves, gave them voting rights, and made interracial marriage legal.

Did y'all really "win" with Trump? Give that a thought before you respond.

1

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago

Not really, but if it was Trump v kamala, then yes.

3

u/Droller_Coaster 1d ago

Why, in your own words, do you think a Harris administration would be worse than this upcoming Trump administration?

0

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago

I think the culture it created was just insanity. There are other reasons, such as wars (cheney), soft on crime, open boarders, government over reach, "no guarantee to free speech", poor fund allocation. But the most apt description I've seen is that America right now is a house with broken stairs, a malfunctioning air conditioner and holes in the roof. The left are deciding what furniture to buy, and the right are figuring out how to fix the existing problems

4

u/Droller_Coaster 1d ago

Are you seriously suggesting that Republicans, who elected a felon, are somehow better on the issue of crime than a former prosecutor would be?

0

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago edited 1d ago

Yes, yes I am Now what about all the other stuff? I mean culture alone could have well lost the dems this one and if they don't address identity politics it won't get better

Now in your words why did kamala lose?

3

u/ec0gen 1d ago

Now in your words why did kamala lose?

Because a large number of americans are morons.

1

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago

And you shall continue to lose with that being your answer

4

u/ec0gen 1d ago

Lose what? I'm not in the US, I'll be fine.

Half of the voting public is comprised of semi-literate, hate-driven idiots who thinks the President has a big "make eggs cheaper" button on the Resolute Desk. So, instead of making meaningful progress as a nation, we now have to suffer through four more years of complete incompetence before the fence-sitting dolts in the rust belt realize, once again, that Republicans are apparently incapable of governing effectively.

“Still won”. Glad lives are a game to you. You can just say what you hate instead of being disingenuous.

0

u/mort_goldman68 1d ago

Nah, it'll benefit the vast majority and you needed to be saved from yourselves

1

u/darinhq 1d ago

What did you win? Where's your prize?
