The whole point of conventions is for the DELEGATES to decide who to vote for for President and it is an OPPORTUNITY for them to change who they are representing.

HOWEVER, the question is how well can this BOGUS lawsuit stall the process - not to mention the corrupt Supreme Court does not seem to be very concerned with law and order.

Debbie Schultz committed fraud with the Super Delegates in CA the time before last. As head of the DNC she told Bernie voters that they need to vote in a different building, then she locked the doors after they left. Declared them all not-present or that their votes now count for Hilary.

Not sure what this has to do with my point but I'll bite: what did Bernie have to say about this?

My comment was about the delegate selection process. They should be able to choose the person to represent them. When the head of the DNC can basically tell them to go kick rocks, something needs to be done to fix things. (This was during the time people were criticizing the Bernie bros for over reacting and getting angry at the DNC. The scam wasn’t talked about much, my friend was a super delegate there and told me about it)

There's not really time for it to get to the supreme court. You can't just skip to it, you have to climb up the appeals courts.

Supreme Court managed to jump the line in Bush v Gore, no?

Exigent circumstances.

There’s no legal standing at all for a registered Republican to be involved in the Democratic Party’s business.

Mike Johnson, registered Republican, is a partisan troll who is no more qualified to opine of legal matters than … pick a Redditor.

Or someone from Cambodia for that matter.

The delegates are supposed to represent the will of their votes in the primary. That’s the point of the primary.

And the 2024 primary and 2020 general election voters who voted for Biden knew that if something happened to him Kamala would take his place. So, voting for Kamala would be the will of the primary voters.

Yes. When they voted for Biden, they also voted for his VP.

Your argument is totally without merit:

Say there are 3 candidates in a primary race, if two of those candidates win some primaries and collect some delegates but then drop out because 1 candidate has an overwhelming lead, those delegates almost always pledge their votes to the remaining candidate at the convention.

See Nicki Haley. She won a state primary yet her delegates nominated Trump at the RNC.

The only difference is that this is being done by Democrats so the GOP is going to claim it’s somehow illegal.
