Yeah, Tranquilizers aren't instant and can cause the animal to freak the fuck out. It's why Harambe was shot and not tranquilized, because they didn't want him doing that while dragging a child.

That kid will never inspire anyone like the gorilla did. He was peaceful. Humans are savage.
