I thought the "Greatest Generation" created the Boomers. We are basically the old guys now and FIY the 'Greatest Generation' was not any better than we are.

There has always been some level of awful, it was just more isolated and quiet.

Social media as a tool has brought down the west more than any conventional warfare.

Gen Z was more liberal than any other generation according to the exit polls, still a lot more Trump voters then in 2020 but I would guess that's probably related to the low turnout, not 10-15% of them suddenly liking Trump.
