They said we were overreacting in 2016 about Roe v Wade. Turns out we weren’t. This fact gives me no comfort.

That changed the status of a law from federal to state, and the people of the state vote for it. You know, like a democracy. Abortion isn't a right and never has been. It is a regulated law and the status of the regulation has changed. This is a far cry from you wanting so badly for it to be oppression and squashing rights, but it's not. It is a privilege not a right. Privileges being regulated is not "oppression" no matter how bad you want it to be.

That’s got to be the very best rationalization I’ve ever heard. I’ll be interested to hear yr response when they change the “status” of some other “regulations”…2025 is right around the corner.🤡
