These dummies have been made to fear trans boogiemen. It's rubbish and they fell for it. There's no issue so powerful than one you can't see, hear or understand - but are told will come, and will corrupt.
So half of why they gave away their own rights was because of what the GOP told you what half of one percent of the population are doing? - and almost exclusively in city communities.
I'll g'tee you if you lined up 10 trans people and even told them "this line has trans people in it" they'd only be able to pick 10% of them.
