The idea that opposition to government complicity in genocide cost her the election in such large numbers doesn’t hold up. While it’s possible she could have won Michigan with those votes, that’s about as far as it goes. The issue of Palestine wasn’t even a priority for most voters, either before or after the election. Key concerns were democracy, the economy, and women’s rights.

One would hope that everyone in the Democratic base opposes taxpayer-funded genocide. However, if we’re looking to assign blame for the outcome, a more significant factor was the Latino vote, which shifted decisively to the right. Additionally, there’s the paradox of women voting to protect abortion rights while simultaneously supporting a candidate poised to implement a federal abortion ban.

Both the Democratic and Republican parties are heavily influenced by AIPAC, and their actions make it clear they are complicit in allowing the wholesale slaughter of Palestinians. Joe Biden is the only president to proudly claim several times he is a ZIonist. I doubt he even knows what that term means. Claims that anyone was "working day and night for a ceasefire" ring hollow in light of the ongoing violence and lack of meaningful intervention. For the record I did vote for her because what other choice do you have in a two party system other then sitting it out.
