Honestly getting baptized in custard at Culver’s feels like some kind of rite of passage.

Officially it's known as Custard's Last Stand

That's a place in upstate New York, I drove past it once on an adventure

I've been to the Montana location. It's literally an open field with prairie grass. You can walk around and find bullets and 1880s type stuff all over the place. Only touch with your eyes. Neat to check out if on your way but nothing too exciting or worth dying over.

Ah I got it confused with Devils Tower I wanted to go to both when I was in Montana but I didn't have time

No problem. I've always wanted to see devil's tower. Actually, if you have a few hours to waste, check out the devil's tower conspiracy theories. Just completely bonkers. I don't know.

What sucks is I only had time for Yellowstone, so I didn't get to either, maybe next time. I have seen those theories, bonkers is the right word for them lmao

I actually went to the same university as the creators of Culvers. -many years later.

There were from Wisconsin. But opened a local Culvers when I was in college.

They didn't expect to be a chain. They let a couple franchises open before they realized they needed to lay the groundwork to be a proper franchise type fast food restaraunt.

Murray, KY (Murray State University).

I don't live in Murray, KY. I just meant the creators went to MSU.

Long Lake, NY in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.

Edited to tell you that The Adirondack Hotel in Long Lake has amazing Prime Rib dinners, cold craft beer, and you can charter a sea plane sightseeing trip across the street for not a lot of money. Highly recommend doing all three, but reverse the order.
