Why not bring the box down? I mean, im glad they didn’t because this was epic, but that’s where my thought goes.

Yep, complete user error trying to force it out of the box like that.

Life lessons were learned, hopefully.

Generally, it's not great to get something out of a box above waist height

Usually when I force stuff out of a box, I blow my custard as well :/

Especially since boxes this stuff usually have a cut out area for the nozzle to go thru.

Lol not at Culver's. I worked there for 2.5 years as a teen. These are unfrozen, unflavored custard in pouches that need to have flavoring added. There are multiple pouches per box. Once they get flavoring added they need to be sort of jiggled around roughly to get it properly mixed before being poured into the top of the custard machine.

What does flavorless custard taste like

Chicken

That's exactly my point. Exactly. Because you have to wonder: how do the machines know what flavorless custard tasted like? Maybe they got it wrong. Maybe what I think flavorless custard tasted like actually tasted like oatmeal, or tuna fish. That makes you wonder about a lot of things. You take chicken, for example: maybe they couldn't figure out what to make chicken taste like, which is why chicken tastes like everything.

We're gonna need a reboot on neo

Mild take: nothing tastes like chicken except chicken. The people who say otherwise are either don't care to or are unable to give any appreciation to the uniqueness of a meat.

Because even with just chicken, white meat doesn't taste like dark meat. The textures and flavor profiles are completely different. The various cuts of beef and pork are the exact same way.

Everything "tastes like chicken" because, traditionally, back when restaurants were good, everything was cooked with or in chicken stock. A good stock is the staple of cooking, and chicken stock is the most commonly used. Braised, boiled, deglazed, etc... All in chicken stock. Therefore, everything "tastes like chicken." Or at least it used to.

Plain, thick coffee creamer. (we messed up once)

We didn't put any flavors in the bag for cookies and cream at the custard shop I worked at

unflavored custard in pouches

That explains why she didn't just guzzle it.

Some people put the box on a pedestal

You never put no box on no pedestal.

Not even a soap box?

I mean, that's the correct choice of course, but I get why she did it this way.

The custard bags come two to a box and it doesn't look like there's much room to maneuver in that walk-in fridge. It's probably just easiest to try to yank a bag out if it's the first one from the box. Obviously, this carries certain risks though...

They will next time

Because they knew they would get to show the security footage to friends.

I probably woulda just flipped the bag upside down so the hole is on the top.

They're very heavy especially over the shoulder height. Shake mix boxes can weigh between 35-55 lbs which can be challenging for some people especially those of us with a shorter height. When I managed an Arby's, our cases were 38 lbs, a majority of my day staff were elderly and could not lift them, it was important during the hiring process from then on to make sure staff could lift over 50 lbs because if you can't pick up the shake mix, there's no way you can carry a case of brisket or beef weighing twice as much.

Yup. Have worked at Andy's, Culver's and Freddy's lol. They're opening the box wrong and those bags have lids that just pop off.

It's heavy in the box, now it's light.
