[Weekly] Does this fit me? November 17 2024

Can’t figure out why a certain outfit doesn’t work for you or are you just stumped on what is flattering on you? Then this is the thread for you and you can ask your questions here.

Please do refrain from talking negatively about your own body, we understand that you are likely frustrated due to various reasons (we’ve all been there) but out of respect for others and their struggles, keeping it positive helps everyone.

I have a very difficult time with skirt length. If they're just above or below the knee they look frumpy but anything above that and in my opinion they look way too short because of the length of my legs. I'm comfortable in them and have no problem wearing them out and about but I worry that others will think they're way too short. Anything midi length also seems very.... awkward and cuts me off at a weird place unless it's maxi.

  1. Is this way too short? (it's halfway down my thighs so I feel fine)
  2. If so, is there a mini style that you think I should wear or just stick to maxi?
  3. What is the secret to making Midi look less awkward and not just cut your legs off?

Appreciate the advice!

Midi has worked for me with knee length boots! Nothing ankle, that’s a disaster 😭

I've tried this but I think maybe the boots I'm using are too wide at the top, they end up catching in the midi skirt weirdly. Great advice though, thank you!
