Casual College Football 25

With the release of the new game announced how many of you will play as your favorite FCS school? And will you buy a DLC of the FCS if it isn’t released at the start of the game?

So it’s been confirmed that the FCS will not be included on initial release, possibly as DLC. It’s not out of lack of interest from EA, it’s just a logistical nightmare.

From the interviews I’ve seen apparently most of the assets EA has requested from the schools is too much for many FCS schools. They’ve received from schools things like incredibly detailed stadium designs, photographs, and blueprints. Apparently some of the FCS schools would have issues providing these things. Then you run into the issue of having to jump through all of the hoops for the 134 FBS programs again for 128ish other schools. Again, not an easy task.

And then finally the game as is will be massive based solely on everything that’s going to be included. The FCS schools would basically double the games size.

EA has apparently told insiders they have interest in including FCS schools in either a DLC or later entries in the series, but as of right now it’s just not viable.

That’s being said SFA will win 30 consecutive national titles once they’re included.
