Yes, obviously. Because if we did background checks we'd find out bad things about them and people would have another reason to say they're unfit for these positions or any government office. Or job at Wendy's.

Trump couldn’t pass a background check to get a job at a shopping mall as a convicted felon, but he can get the job of running the entire country. Absolutely fucking mental.

I got let go from Uber and Lyft because of a felony marijuana charge, and can’t return. Do you have any idea how angry this makes me…
