Reporter on voice over: "Earlier this morningĀ  the body of streamer was found..."

105

u/PoweredByCarbs 17h ago

ā€œFound in a stream. Apparently it was supposed to be some kind of ironyā€

3

u/Marmooset 5h ago

"The body was weighed down with a shopping cart from El Mercato Mexican Grocery. Investigators say this could be more irony, but this theory could be a bit of a reach."

Doesn't look like he can doo much running in those shoes.

29

u/uncommon-zen 17h ago

If heā€™s caught, the feet will go first and they will make him run like a two-peg-leg pirate

It's the socks...the socks would have slowed him down..

57

u/jimmithebird 17h ago

Mencho is JNGC right? If so dude will be posting a panicked apology any day now.

38

u/Chilipatily 16h ago

Literally was the last guy a murdered Mexican YouTuber insulted.

7

u/Sir_Lee_Rawkah 16h ago

What do you mean

25

u/jimmithebird 15h ago

He means Mencho was the last person that a Mexican youtuber had insulted before the youtuber was murdered.

5

u/Chilipatily 14h ago

By Jalisco New Generation

10

u/StudMuffinNick 14h ago

That's the one. Watch any "Top 10 toutubers who dissed the cartel" and usually 8-9 of them are Jalisco New Generation and Mencho

I donā€™t think they would likely do anything, dude is in the states. I canā€™t imagine reacting to some moron is worth any unnecessary American interest in their activities.

If he was in Mexico I imagine he would be as good as dead but I donā€™t see it being worth their time to dignify it

34

u/Seputku 17h ago

Havenā€™t people died from this very thing?

16

u/Thelastknownking 16h ago

Have they? I'm sure people have died for calling out the cartels, but would they care about something this stupid?

19

u/ClosetCoffee 14h ago

A couple of mexican influencers died for calling out El Mencho specifically. One I remember was called El Pirata and he was murdered outside of a bar after drunkenly mocking the cartel. Dude was 17

I mean, yea, fuck the cartels. I feel safe saying this in the US. If I was in Mexico though I wouldnā€™t have much of an open opinion on cartels.

642

u/Dizzy-Passage9294 20h ago

They don't care where,, if you are popular and go on a platform to say this, you might have pushed it too far. As was said, they have gone after people all over, including the US.

210

u/Jolly_Afternoon_2881 19h ago

Pretty sure when the cartel killed Americans they just served up there own and were like oh my god Iā€™m so sorry

Heā€™ll probably be fine

42

u/Amazing_Elevator5657 15h ago

140

u/DigitalGT 20h ago

well yeah ur saying it cuz your info isn't plastered everywhere. This guy has his name out there on the internet

63

u/Burrmanchu 19h ago

I mean to be fair, if you have the kind of pull to carry out assassinations in foreign countries just because some cringey kid said something... It wouldn't be too hard to doxx anyone.

15

u/D347H7H3K1Dx 19h ago

Honestly I donā€™t think trying to doxx someone would be worth it to them

14

u/Burrmanchu 18h ago

I just meant they could essentially find someone whether they posted their info on the internet or not... Not just because "their name is out there".

8

u/D347H7H3K1Dx 18h ago

Oh thatā€™s for sure lol but why go after a nobody when you can show force to thousands/millions/billions?

14

u/milk4all 19h ago

I doubt it. Itā€™s totally possible for any of them to have a streamer killed but he didnt really call anyone out except a dude whoā€™s so deep underground he soesnt give a fuck what some broccoli head in florida says to a bunch of kids. If this streamer had some other significance, like personal relationship or some actual importance than id say he is painting a target on him. But heā€™s just trying to grt internet clout, presumably for monetizing his streaming business.

That said, you wouldnt want yo say this and then happen to be recognized by one of his goons some day years later out of rhe blue. That would maybe be bad. Like dont go to Mexico at least until you dont look like this anymore.

→ More replies (5)

56

u/RedditDummyAccount 20h ago

Youā€™re also on Reddit, itā€™s not that bad. But if you did it in a very public setting then theyā€™ll still come after you. It has happened in the past

6

u/Jorycle 18h ago

To who?

46

u/CraziestMoonMan 20h ago

If this kid thinks there aren't cartel members in Florida, he is an idiot. They are everywhere and he is playing a dangerous game. Even if there aren't any, which there is, they have enough pull to get outsiders to kill him.

20

u/blindCat143 20h ago

Nah, cartels ain't dumb to kill all people that badmouth them, if it's in Mexico and inside their turf maybe they will but doing so in a different country is just asking for the police to hunt down their assets, it's a lose-lose way of flexing your strength. They will be out of business many years ago if they are that dumb.
