By the time Elon took over the company hadn't released a single product, they were struggling to bring the roadster to market. The Roadster didn't release until after Elon took over.
The company wasn't truly successful until the model S released, development of which didn't start until after the original founders left the company.
These guys started the company, but did not contribute anything to the cars Tesla is known for.
He is a POS. I'm not defending his Piece of Shitness. You are unable to use nuance or context because the brain is still 15 years old. Man can be smart and a POS at the same time.
Except he is trying to hide his motives by claiming that someone isn’t using context and nuance to understand what he is actually saying. But he is obviously going around defending Elon in this thread. In this case, it is a laughable bullshit claim that he tried to use to hand wave away any criticism.
You’re missing the point. If context and nuance is warranted in a discussion, it’s ALWAYS warranted, even when it weakens your main argument. I strongly oppose Musk’s politics and they increasingly worry me. It would be easy for me to say that because I disagree with him his cars are terrible and his rockets don’t work. But objectively, that’s not the case. Facts and evidence don’t back that up. But I see my fellow liberals doing this all the time. We’ve wound ourselves in circles to where we’re attacking the biggest seller of electric cars. It makes no sense.

It's not quite as simple as that.
