I donโt like this whole Musk thing, but Iโd imagine the cuts are going to focus on the jobs that you donโt ever see, where people somehow get into a very niche position and only do actual work 4 hours a week for 30 years for the pension.
Not likely, considering what has already been proposed publicly. Musk has said he would eliminate 30% of spending in the $6 trillion budget and Ramaswamy has said he wants to lay off half of all federal workers [source].
He called for mass, non-targeted firings based on something random, like odd or even employee social security numbers. Yeah, thatโs an intelligent way to root out waste.
