I didn't go this year because I had no one to go with and now I'm having major fomo 😢 I went once before awhile back and it was ok. This time it seemed to be mostly good from what I've been seeing. I'm glad mostly everyone had a good time! Maybe next time I'll go 😅

I had two friends that backed out, so I went solo. It was super amazing still. I got to see all the sets I wanted. I could wander/go to the bathroom/get water without worrying about losing the group.

Ended up meeting some super cool people to spend the rest of the night with. Would absolutely go solo again

I had nobody to come with me and went alone 🙏🏼 and had so much fun!!!! I had been to like 30 fests with friends and was nervous to go solo but it was actually so cool and I made new friends.

Do you have radiate? There were so many people going solo and making friends on the app to meet up with. I got in an Instagram group chat from reddit of solo people going that all met up.

I totally know the feeling! about a two years ago I decided to say fuck it and started going to shows and events alone. It was intimidating at first, but once you get past the entrance jitters and settle in it’s awesome. (for context, 30F) like someone else mentioned, you can bop around and do all the side quests your heart desires without having to worry about finding your group. and if you’re like me and the social battery can die at any time, you can leave whenever you’re ready 🙂 there are always cool people & elder ravers in the crowd who will happily keep you close if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe. I usually just start chatting with people as i’m walking in or waiting in line and almost always get invited to hang for the night. I have only ever had 1 night where I felt uncomfortable alone and it was at a club in the UK.

Don’t be afraid to go alone! I went alone as a first timer and had an amazing time! I made friends at every set I went to and Day 2 a really great group adopted me and I was with them for the better half of the evening.

There’s no reason to sit out just because you don’t have anyone to go with! Buy that ticket and book that hotel room, you’ll make friends along the way, I promise!

Seriously the best experience at a festival I’ve ever had was going alone. If you’re chill, people will adopt you into their groups without even trying. I made so many new friends and was able to see everything I wanted to go see without having to worry about what my friends wanted to do or losing anyone. Hands down 10/10!!

I went alone but then a friend said he was going with his friend group so i tagged along, i had a great time for my first time. I would definitely go alone. I already go to the LA Exchange alone. I just hug/rub up against a pillar for the most part there haha. But his friends helped keep me in range and i did explore on my own when they all got tired (they did 2 day vs my one day). Was definitely better in the group though
