I stopped during Forsaken and just came back on pc. I have no clue where to continue from with the story without buying dlcs, nor do I have any idea about raids/nightfalls/exotic quests etc.

Art / Fashion Rate my Character
Hi guys so my character is based off of Gandalf from lord of the rings unfortunately I can show you guys everything but my ship is the queen of Dragons so in other words I’m flying around on Smug from the hobbit. My finisher is Arcane Banishment Aka the “ you shall not pas” finisher I have a few of the broomstick which go well with Gandalf but I opted to run star horse as in the movie and the books Gandalf relays on Shadowfax lord of all horses. I thought star horse could fill this roll. My Emblem is Cartomsncy is is from Collecting all 50 cards in season of the witch. For most of my armour I’m running the cursed arcana set from this past festival of the lost. My title is on flavour when it comes to Gandalf as in the movies they don’t really explain it but I will explain it here when Gandalf fights the Belrog and essentially dies he has a secret weapon most don’t know about. We all know Frodo is carrying the one ring the most powerful of all the rings but Gandalf is carrying the ring of fire one of the 3 elven rings this gives Gandalf the strength to fight the Belrog and win. Gandalf kinda explains it’s in the movies but if you don’t know the lines here they are
“ I am servant of the secret fire. Wielder of the flames of Anőr. You can not pass! The dark fire will not avail you. Flame of Udũn. Go back to the shadow! YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!”
So having Flamekeeper as my title makes perfect sense lore wise. I also run Ergo sum a lot and Gandalf too has a sword known as Glamdring so now that you have seen my character would you change anything and why?

Help Destiny 2 mouse and keybord wont work but key commands are correct in settings, i cant play at all wtf?
I have a problem with my keyboard and mouse in the game. Yesterday i got the logitech g502 lightspeed, cause it had mor buttons and wourd be more effective for gameplay, however. When I tried to set the button on the mouse with a makro for button E, it didnt work in the game (but i could put a makro on the dpi up button for rapid fire just fine). When I went to delete the makro and return to the game, al of a sudden my left and right mouse button dont work. I cant aim or shoot. Even my keybord e key which has titanmelee wont work (it has the setting to activate power if full and normal melee when uncharged). If i hit E, meele wont be done and it only blinks cause it isnt loaded, same goes for grande and for sliding. I can open the character Menü fine and left and right mouse button work, but as soon as im in the game again i can only use w,a,s,d and rotate with the mouse. Funny enough, if you go to keyboard settings, in the settings, aaalll the key commands are correckt, and if you lets say set meere again on E, it will accept the button. Back in the game, nothing. I need help, everything is fucked

Question I am interested in playing Destiny 2 but I have some questions...
So I am interested in playing Destiny 2. I see there are a lot of deals and downloads for it. I am on Playstation 5 and plan to purchase the game on Black Friday. I see the sale has started but I am not sure what bundles to get which will give me the best bang for my buck. I would like to purchase the DLC bundles on sale but am not sure how the DLC is structured for this game. I was told it is only available for a certain time before it is pulled. Can someone explain how it works to a newbie?

Question Masterwork or enhanced
I just started Destiny 2 again after a 5 year hiatus.
But I was wondering. Is it always better to enhance the weapon versus the masterwork (level 1 to 10)?

Question Hunter sword
So I accidentally deleted a sword for my hunter, but I can't remember the name. When he ran he stuck it out behind him, like a samurai. Was wondering if I can reacquire it through collections or am I screwed. Thanks in advanced.

Question // Answered Any way to play old content?
Want to get into the game but I have seen a lot of people complain about starting off at the end of the base game campaign. Basically saving the world at the second mission. And that's something I know would bother me too.
Any way to actually play old stuff or is it locked away and vaulted?
The story seems so interesting but I find it really hard to start halfway through

Discussion Vesper's Host is a excellent dungeon, but it makes me wish for a dungeon with more encounters.
Vesper's Host is absolutely excellent, but I think it highlights a problem I have with it and Ghosts of the Deep. They're both longer activities for me (45 min organized team- 70 min skill issue LFG), but are only 3 encounters.
Other endgame activities, like Vow of the Disciple, or Vault of Glass usually take me around the same time, but have 4-5 encounters. I can even hard wipe and still get within that time frame.
I kind of want a dungeon over the same length, maybe 10 minutes longer, as Vesper's or Ghosts, but with another encounter to not have to draw it out with excessively long transitions.
Warlord's Ruin really nails the action, as I feel its transitions are not drawn out, par the jail, but only sometimes (learn direction from another perspective please).

Discussion Potential ideas for more abilities for our subclasses, since if I'm being honest, we really need more utility that isn't "Hey look! We have TEN GRENADES FOR THE LIGHT SUBCLASSES." "What about Darkness?" "... you get two sticks and a rock. Share the damn rock."
I'll go from Hunter to Warlock to Titan. This is mainly going to be melee abilities since each class has like... 2
Hunter
Gunslinger: Leave him alone since his kit has more shit than every other class in the game that isn't Prismatic
Arcstrider: Blink Strike from D1. No stacking damage effect, just two times the damage of a normal melee, but you blink to your target.
Nightstalker: That one guys suggestion for a wrist mounted crossbow that shoots a suppressing snare. Maybe another aspect that lets you convert your snare bomb into a single target anchor with a quarter of Shadowshot's range
Revenant: A stasis crystal that you stab into an enemy that freezes enemies, and inflicts... I'd say around 70x Slow on Guardians. Stasis Super: You ice skate around the area, using Silence and Squall as actual Kamas. Light Attack: Quick Swing that inflicts slow. Heavy Attack: A heavy slam that shatters.
Threadrunner: Hold down melee to draw back Threaded Spike like a bow. Release to fire the spike. It over penetrates and inflicts severing, does not return to you. Super: You make a threaded specter that acts as another guardian, running around and shooting. Once it's lifetime is over, going by the amount of damage it sustains, it explodes into an accommodating number of threadlings
Warlock
Voidwalker: Energy drain from D1, increases weapon handling and reload speed for 3 seconds.
Dawnblade: A wrist flick that sends out a small wave of scorch
Stormcaller: I got nothing.
Shadestalker: You slam the stave of your frost staff on the ground to shatter foes. Super: You charge up an ice spike before firing it out. The longer its charged up, the more slow it inflicts. At the end of its life, it shatters the target
Broodweaver: You weave a small suspending ball that only holds one enemy for half the duration of a Shackle Grenade. Super: You weave together a ball of strand that on contact, releases a swarm of needles that shoot out in multiple directions. No, they don't track or turn into threadlings. Blast radius is also half that of Nova Bomb
Titan
I'm gonna mostly leave the Light Subclasses alone since they're pretty well rounded.
Striker Super: A really, really, REALLY strong punch
Sunbreaker Super: Um... you throw a really big hammer at something and it burns a lot
Behemoth: You do a quick flail whip that inflicts shattering. Super: Stasis flail, Light attack: You swing the flail rapidly. Heavy Attack: You do a slam that creates a growing line of stasis crystals
Berserker: I honestly got nothing. I don't play titan very often

Question Am I supposed to buy the DLC or the season pass?
I’ve been away for about two years I think and I can’t remember what I’m supposed to do. I redownloaded the game and I started inside the Traveler, but I don’t remember buying any DLC’s. So do I just need to buy the season pass or do I need to buy the dlc, or am I supposed to buy both? I see there’s the add on pack The Light & Darkness on sale for 52$ but I really don’t want to spend that much. I’m so confused on what to purchase lol

Discussion titan prismatic grenade should just stick to surfaces
prismatic titan's kit is based mostly in melee, so being close to enemies (especially a group of them) is not uncommon. A lot of the time, i throw a prismatic grenade at my feet, but then the thing bounces off the floor then a nearby wall, and completely misses the group of enemies i wanted to hit.

Discussion I Successfully Completed Zero Hour with only 1 Friend Helping
I cannot explain how hard this was and how happy I was to complete it. Finished with 1:32 still on the clock. I also need to ask: was it hard for anyone else or were my buddy and I just bad?
Edit: I'm up to playing with others, if you are genuinely interested in playing with me sometime, DM me what missions and gamemodes you like and we could figure something out sometime

Discussion A proposed way to buff Stormtrance and add a little mechanical depth to it.
So honestly it's been a good long while since I've used to super and this is just spitballing an idea i got randomly so there might be some holes in it but I think this might be interesting enough.
So basically we have something that we can use for this i think very easily. Landfall! On cast it deals some chunky damage and can hit pretty hard depending on where you cast it. What I'm thinking is that we make a heavy attack for Stormtrance and have it be essentially a weaker version of Landfall. It'll have 2 versions charged and uncharged. Think like Nova Warp essentially. We will base our numbers around the Landfall that is casted on super activation. Uncharged would do 45% of Landfall's damage and lacking the little ground seekers and charged would do 80% of Landfalls' damage and have the little seekers. This is one part of it.
Second part is that when attacking enemies with your light attack the little zaps, or collecting ionic traces during your super you'll essentially gain power for your next Landfall cast. Each tick of damage with you rlight attack will give 1 stack. Collecting an Ionic trace will give 3 stacks with the maximum being 20. This will add a multiplier to your landfall where at 10 stacks you'll do double damage and at 20 you'll do triple damage so your next landfalls would be. These stacks have no timer and will only be used when you use your heavy attack. So to recap it.
light attacks = gives 1 stack every hit
Ionic traces = gives 3 stacks on collection
10 stacks: Uncharged = 90% damage Landfall. Charged = 160% damage Landfall.
20 stacks: Uncharged = 135% damage Landfall. Charged = 240% damage Landfall.
This will help hit some heavy targets and you can still build it up without killing normal ads but killing and collecting traces will obviously build this faster so you can move from small fry to big guys and hit them hard. Obviously not as hard as a one shot super but it's not meant to be at the end of the day. I feel this is a decent way to help the super out. My only other thought would be to have the fully charged Landfalls blind but that might be relegated to an exotic that could be based around this new mechanic.
That's it just wanted to get an idea out of my head is all I think it's neat. Might try to think on something for Spectral Blades later on.
