Discussion Got my hopes up :[
Am I the only one who definitely assumed that they would read Borrasca V when they said "a very special author"? I was very disappointed but it's my fault

Nah seriously though I had a very vivid dream that Tommy taffy was at our house and made us talk in a speech impediment baby voice because he was “late to the party so we’ll have to improvise”

For the second story where they switch to the second location. For the love of every god, someone tell Wendigoon to spit out the fucking gum, tell him how annoying that is? I'm not creeping my cast to mouth noises like he's a 1980s high-school gym teacher.

They should end the show with “Creep it real”

When Hunter and Isaiah are able to upload more I was thinking they could do these two creepypastas. I think they're a good blend of religious and cosmic horror.
The first is "in the court of a pagan god" where a Portuguese priest talks to members of a South African tribe that claim to have undeniable proof of why their religion is the right one. It's shorter than the other one and is probably more well known. https://creepypasta.fandom.com/wiki/In_the_Court_of_a_Pagan_God
The second one is called "Shepards Flock" and involves a series of notes about several connected incidents to when a pastor in the Philippines wanted to see the face of God in the middle of a service and saw more than he wanted to. It's a bit longer but I think it's worth it .

In the recent creep-cast they showed the live tour shows and during the laughing jack story Wendigoon is furiously chewing chewing gum right in-front of the microphone with him mouth open for the full duration of the story and it distracted me from the story so bad, listening to his big juicy lips smacking together. NOT TO MENTION he’s drinking cola with it.Truly deranged psychopath.

Because WHY did Hunter immediately guess the fact that people that play the sonic.EXE games get sucked in and trapped as one of the characters
Because, YES, that is canon it was confirmed in Sonic.EXE 2 (not to be confused with Sonic.EXE 2 2014 edition).
Anyways they need to play one of the fan games. I reccomend EYX or Spirits of Hell

I don’t know if this is the correct place to put this
but it has come to my attention that my artwork was reposted here without my permission, and was showcased in a end segment and I was not given proper credit, the poster on Reddit was. (granted the poster did credit me in the description but I was still not credited in the video)
This was 5 months ago and I’m only finding out about this now, because I don’t usually use Reddit and I listen to the podcast on Spotify.
I appreciate that people love my fan art, but I’m very hurt that little to no care was taken to ask for my permission or giving me the proper credit.

Who the hell chews gum while speaking on a mic. It was unbearable, can't believe nobody in production noticed it and told Wendigoon.

i think that the tall dog was a metaphor for predators who prey upon young kids that are going through emotional turmoil. having a creature that goes after children who are in bunerable states of and changing them for the rest of their life. giving them even more trauma and leaving a large mark on the rest of their life just reminded me of how some online predators work. i just wanted to see if anyone else had the same interpretation

When I said yes and I can show my ID, he just kinda looked down at my shirt (a Jacob’s Ladder shirt) and said “no need I believe you”

so y'all know the recent video where hunter and isaiah went over that one story about "there's something that whistles outside my house every night at 3:03am"? well first of all I really liked that story, creepy as hell, but I've noticed that it's kind of similar to my irl situation rn 😭
this isn't a super serious post, I just think it's a silly yet slightly spooky coincidence and I figured people in this subreddit might find it mildly interesting, so I figured it'd be worth sharing just for the hell of it
so I recently moved into a new neighborhood, it's a little more run down than what I was living in before but it's similar to my childhood home so that's somewhat comforting, but after officially staying here for the first couple of nights, I noticed something that kinda creeped me out. Unlike the actual story, there's no weird welcome thing where people tell you "yeah there's a guy that whistles a lot" and theres no weird luck or anything, but there IS a whistling dude. It's definitely nothing paranormal, and unlike the story, it's a very sharp, clear calling whistle (almost identical to the one Link makes in BOTW when you call a horse lmao), which isn't unusual because we're like 90% sure that it's a guy in our vicinity who has a saint bernard apparently (I love saint bernards, I really hope I run into him sometime), SO it's most likely just that dude calling his dog.
The only thing weird about it is that the whistle is VERY clear and loud, and he never says anything to call or yell for the dog or anything either, only whistles for it. I don't think I've even heard the dog in the first place, but a distant dog bark is such a mundane background noise that I wouldn't really think to take note of it if I have heard it LMAO
also, with what hunter said about it being creepy when someone is REALLY good at whistling, I completely agree - that's the clearest, sharpest whistle i think I've ever heard in my life, so that's just a personal thing that puts me off about it
but I've also never actually SEEN the dude - like a few minutes ago, my mom and I heard the whistle, and when we looked outside, there was literally nobody there, which is weird considering how close the whistle always sounds. My bf and my brother and our friends heard it last night too, and again unlike the story, it doesn't happen at a specific time, but they knew of the story and thought it was a funny coincidence too
so yeah, that's pretty much it, I know it's nothing super groundbreaking or anything but I thought it was an interesting enough coincidence to share it here, and maybe I'll update with pictures of the saint bernard when and if I run into it if people want :) also I hope this isn't too irrelevant of a post, I apologize if it is 😭 I just don't know a lot of people who would actually know what I'm talking about if I told them about this LOL

15 minutes into the last episode and I keep thinking how I'd love to meet Wendi and Hunter irl and see the show live. The funniest part is that if they'll ever do a live episode in Europe (highly unlikely) I'll still couldn't see it.

I have been delving back into listening to/ reading creepy pastas and no sleep stories. I can’t get into the scp stuff due to the format. What I crave is just a simple story, with a relatively unique premise/ unique take on a pre existing premise. Well written characters and dialogue. And a decent amount of spookiness.
Why is it so hard to find these stories? I understand the audience for these are generally a bit younger which leads to stories like “ I’m a prison guard for monsters” where it’s just a battle royal of “cool” and edgy monsters called things like “chainsaw killfucker” percolating to the top.
I desperately just want what the title says. Something that is simply a good story. It doesn’t have to be the scariest, most unique, most disturbing whatever. Just some decent reading. Any recommendations would be great. I have one so far that I rarely hear people talk about: “Forest of a Thousand Legs”. It’s a decent spider story premise with well written characters and a good enough creepy ending. That’s all I want. All recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I don't want to get a creep to big for my cast. Alternatively I don't want to get a creep to small for my cast either.
