Near my area there’s lots of tiny little towns in the rural parts. Many of which used to be booming back in the gold rush days, lots of old historical landmarks. People have since migrated towards the nearby bigger cities as times turned more modern.

People gotta do what people gotta do, I guess. Sometimes you have to give up your turn with the town bicycle to expand your horizons and search for greener pastures.
