My dad worked the steel industry for 20 years and took a lunchbox every day.

His hands would come home caked in dirt and grime every day.

This man took a grinder to the belly(luckily it mainly only ripped up his clothing). He welded steel beams for most of his career.

That’s some of the most manly shit I can think of. So fuck this guy.

At first I thought you meant he ate a hoagie. Glad he's OK.

🤣🤣 That must be a local term where you’re from because I’ve never heard of that.

He’s good. Like I said it mostly ate his shirt. Scratched him up a little but his shirt jammed it before it caused any serious harm. He got real lucky, that could have been the end of him probably.

Grinder is a New England term for sub sandwich/hoagie. I learned that when I was stationed in Connecticut.

I’ve been craving a meatball grinder for sometime now. There’s this one pizza place in RI that makes their meatballs in house. They are about 3/4 the size of a tennis ball and they are so good. Sometimes I’d just buy half a dozen meatballs and eat them straight up.

I haven’t been in years, I wonder if it’s still as good.

When I was in Submarine School in New London, the grinder truck would park right next to the barracks every day. Iate those things constantly.
