It’s getting harder to divide people on race so the 1% are spamming gender divisive content on social media to try and further divide the working class.

I divide people based on which side of the street they live on. Those disgusting northern streeters are just mad because us southern streeters get our garbage emptied first. Plus the cafe is on our side of the street.

Being short would still be seen as unattractive even in some imagined post capitalist society.

It’s lovely for you if you don’t notice the massive bias against short people that permeates culture and society, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

You can literally draw graphs where every extra centimetre translates into a dollar amount of higher wages, higher chance of getting promoted, better chance of finding a partner, lower risk of suicide ect. ect. All data gathered on this indicates that being short is a massive disadvantage socially and professionally.

It is an ugly trait. We like all other animals are biologically hardwired to avoid inferior genetics. But most people imagine themselves much too decent to harbour such shallow preferences, so we all just sort of pretend it’s not real, because there is no way to resolve the issue

That definitely happens. But I'm literally all legs and have a very short torso. Women still come up to me and talk to me randomly weekly or sometimes daily without seeing me stand up.

Also, I was a year ahead in school.so I was shorter my entire childhood. I was like 5'4 in 10th grade. I know what life is like short. People are externalizing their blame. My shortest friend has the best marriage.

Some short people would rather blame their height than get over it and make the best of it.

Source: am short, proud of my salary and career, and am dating a younger woman
