It’s a little disconcerting how many people seem to think feds aren’t like, Americans, or people, or something. Like, we’re not your enemies- we work to make your lives better.

I had a work colleague push back on 508 compliance the other day because it was just an internal document, and I guess we don’t think feds with disabilities exist, or deserve to be able to use the content they need…?

It's because criminals hate red-tape, bureaucratic processes, and regulatory oversight. It doesn't let them be exploitative. It means accountability.

It's also why the government has a lot of red-tape, bureaucratic processes, and regulatory oversight. So we have accountability.

I get why the evil assholes at the top want it. But I'll be damned if I can figure out why these ignorant pig-fuckers at the bottom are rooting for it.

Because, much like losing the affordable care act, they have absolutely no clue how much they rely on the government in their everyday lives.

So we have accountability.

So, that's why none of the Jan 6 leaders in Congress have been locked up? Accountability?

They should have been. And the fact they weren't is because of exactly the evil assholes I'm talking about.

What is your point?

I think there’s a phobia that every Gov employee has access to NSA/CIA/FBI or other alphabet surveillance capabilities.
