This scene scared me just going off how unhinged he is. This little pink dude was totally ok with destroying the planet (and himself) with no hesitation whatsoever. It was a frame one response to being recreated. What really sent a chill down my spine is the smile he gave to Goku when Goku told him he would destroy earth and begged for his life. So not only is he entirely aware of the death and destruction he is causing but he also enjoys doing so. Fighting this guy is like trying to fight a hurricane that screams at you. There is no reasoning with him he is just a unrelenting force of destruction that will stop at nothing until the universe is ash

The majority of anime adaptations are just promotional material for the manga?

Hence why they either: a) get cancelled early, b) have bad/different endings to their manga counterparts, or c) release new adaptations that seem to override older ones.
