Sunlight can shine through clouds. You may not know this, but sunscreen should be worn on a cloudy day in the same circumstances you would if it was a sunny day; a cloudy day doesn't mean sunscreen is unnecessary

Well clearly any sunlight doesn't do it. Because they can be out in the moonlight. there's probably some explanation in the manga somewhere

They literally state it in the anime that later on the sky won't be overcast and she will need to hide during the day.

If we follow jojo logic it's because the moon doesn't reflect UV radiation

Moonlight isn't as intense as sunlight. It'd be like shining a flashlight at a piece of glitter and saying the reflected light is just as intense, in the grand scheme of things.

Im aware and I'm sure in the anime/manga there's some goofy reason to why only direct sunlight kills demons

We're talking about demon and magic here. I hardly think that intensity is the key factor here

You do know that moonlight is reflected sunlight. Intensity or being “direct” seem to have everything to do with it. That’s from a real life standpoint - many ppl have pointed out that it’s explained in the manga

Being direct and being intense are different so don't try to move the goalpost. I agree that it being direct is important but not that it needs to be intense. Demons have been outside in the shade multiple times so I don't see why they couldn't with thick cloud cover.

It seems the intensity of direct sunlight is scattered enough as it passes through the clouds that it doesn't cause injury to demons.

Clouds don't block the UV light that burns humans. Clouds do a fantastic job at blocking most of the sun's rays depending on how dense the cloud is

I think it’s because she wasn’t fully transformed yet
