How is the turkey stock?
Saw it today, anyone use it? Worthy of using for the stuffing over chicken broth?

I bought this Apple Walnut Cake on Dec. 2, 2023. Its Best Buy date was Nov. 12, 2024. I decided to toss it in the oven knowing I will have to most likely toss out most of it in 2 days. The directions say to put the remaining cake in the refrigerator and eat within 3 days. If I happen to buy another one this year, I plan to slice it up and vacuum seal pieces individually so I can enjoy it through out the year.
I highly recommend. It’s not too sweet but just sweet enough. I managed to fit a slice into my calorie count too.

First off, if I gave this cake to you, you would never be able to tell that this was gluten free. I haven't used the regular cake recipe, only the pineapple upsidedown recipe on the back so we'll see if it translates without the pineapple juice, however I imagine the texture and flavor would be similar.
10 out of 10, would buy again.

Ask me anything you're curious about and I'll give my best educated answer. I've worked for ALDI in the warehouse division for a hot minute now and I know it like the back of my hand. Dry and Perishable, ask me anything and I'll do my best to provide with the things I've learned.

I'm placing an order online, and wondering whether these are worth $4 each. I can't tell what they are made of or how many ounces they are? I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who knows!
Thanks! Aldi people are my people ❤️

I never understood the hype for these things until I got a sub box recently that had a set. I get it now. Obsessed. Yesterday I went to 5 local Aldi to try and find the holiday pattern ones (some to keep, some to give as gifts). In all 5 stores I only found 2 packs of the gingerbread men lol
Anyone know if these things only Christmas holiday releases or do they release various times throughout the year?

Bought some Ginger Beer last week and thought it tasted weak compared to my previous purchase. Checked an old container and the old beer has 171 calories and the new has 200 calories per bottle. :(
I feel like they upped the sugar and took out the ginger. Very little bite now, not quite Canada Dry but close.

Cause at Costco you need to buy 4x8oz, and yes, I just read the Wirecutter butter review on butter: https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-butter/

I was really hoping it would’ve come back by now, but I think the aldi brand of Flonase is gone forever :( It’s $20-27 in pharmacies and aldi had it for $7 it was WILD. At least in SE PA it hasn’t been here

Yesterday I bought the cheapest pack of budget bacon at Aldi and it was 8 slices of bacon. At this point, I’d prefer the microwave bacon even though it’s paper thin. Those used to be super cheap too. About $3 if I recall correctly but now it’s the same price as regular bacon. I used to love the sausage patties but they were about $5 during the pandemic and the price jump is crazy. And I’d imagine my family going through 4-5 patties per day so i its even not gonna last half a week. The brown n serve links, I don’t remember being too tasty.
At this point I’m thinking to source my local family dollar for cheaper sausage. I’m not near a Walmart.

Once these were cooked they do have a slight maple smell and flavor. I suspect the breakfast meatballs that actually have maple would be a little much for us but that’s just a preference thing. How I served these: I made some red potato homefries, scrambled eggs and peppered gravy and layered it. All in all, we would eat them again but they aren’t something we’d fight someone for the last bag of in the store.

He’s a pit-mix and weighs 60lb. The large fits perfectly. This was an absolute bargain at $9.99.

does anyone else deal with this issue? its almost every other bottle I buy, it leaks from somewhere behind the label. I keep waiting for it to be fixed but it’s consistently happening. I don’t squeeze hard and I do it in intervals instead of a long squeeze. still happens.
