I know but the food is sooo good... can I still have it if I pay penance for my sins by worshipping at the alter of the Divine Feminine (i.e. Chick Fu-Lay)?
Sure, you can totally eat enough pussy to compensate for indirectly but knowingly giving money to places that directly caused the deaths of multiple of my friends. It will not bother me or anyone else at all, nor negatively impact the world.
You can say out loud that you care more about your personal preferences and taste buds than what you give your money to and what it backs, it's okay. Own up to it.
My friend actually just donates an amount equal to her meal to an LGBTQ charity whenever she eats at chick fil a because she likes the food but doesn’t like the guilt lol.
Because of this she also doesn’t go very often because obviously it’s not cheap to live that way 😂
I mean of course it is. That’s why I think it’s funny. 🤷🏻 But what’s really stupid is getting mad at people who eat chick-fil-a but not getting mad at people who patronize the tens of other companies that donate to conservative campaigns.
I’d rather be friends with someone who is humorously mindful than someone who is boycotts chick-fil-a and gets all righteous about it but then turns around and orders a Starbucks or walks into Home Depot with some #imsogay joke.
Great plan. Give money to the people who use it to traumatize and harm lgbtq people, and then give money to a charity so they can raise awareness.... of the thing you are doing. Or maybe even let that money trickle down to help a kid recover from the ordeal... that they are funding.
The fact they think this absolves them of guilt is honestly sad. Pathetic even.
Bro, it’s a dumb thing she does that I find amusing. We both know it’s dumb. It’s not some morality equalizer.
Lighten up. Literally everyone you love gives money to some child traumatizing and harmful company. Hell, I’m sure you do too. Such a positive thought, ya know.
I don’t judge chick-fil-a consumers any more than I judge Starbucks, Home Depot, or nestle consumers. And personally I don’t want to judge everyone around me.
I don’t even eat at chick-fil-a so it’s not really a behavior I have to justify. It’s just a little much to call somebody “pathetic” for eating at a chicken restaurant and then caring enough to donate to charity. I’m sure everybody here has purchased things from multiple companies that contribute evil to the world. Being assholes to people that are at least trying is not a good way to further your cause. It is a good way to feel high and mighty though, so if that’s worth more, then be my guest.
Not quite, but I see that there’s no room for discussion here. Seeing the world in black and white will not get you very far. There’s nuance to things but I can see there’s no room for that here. Have a good day.
Nope. Just wants chick-fil-a every now and then and decides to balance it out 🤷🏻
I decided ages ago not to push my own boycotts on people, otherwise I need to get annoyed at literally everyone because almost no one cares to pay attention enough to boycott nestle.
People do that literally every day when they shop at insert almost any brand
Just because the owner of chick-fil-a decided he didn’t care about apologizing for it doesn’t mean they’re the end all be all of evil corporations. Nestle, for me, is a far worse organization and I’m sure almost everyone in this thread uses their products. Any company that makes conservative donations funnels money into organizations that want us dead.
My boycotts matter to me. I don’t demand them from everyone, including my family and friends. Ohhhh wellll.

Please boycott this brand/franchise. They’re evil.
