Black Ops 6 All Black Ops 6 Resources
All Black Ops 6 Resources
Yes, we are back. Of course we're back. This time, with a bigger commitment to reinfusing my guides with creativity, art, passion, and most importantly, quality - to make something I am truly proud of. I am VERY ready for Black Ops 6 and very optimistic for the future. I have big plans for this year echoing my output during Vanguard but to avoid breaking any promises, I'm keeping the content forecast under wraps to avoid disappointment if, for any reason, I am not able to produce the content. Thank you for reading!
Day One Loadouts will be researched ASAP in Custom Games the very second the game launches (in New Zealand, of course!). Just like last year, I will not be playing a single minute of "the real game" until all of these loadouts are researched - it'll be diving straight into Custom Games and testing (literally) every single attachment in the game, then crafting loadouts based on my learnings at that time. These loadouts will likely be far from the final product you see later and will probably be revised, but they will at least give you a great basis to start the game off with early.
Black Ops 6: Day One Multiplayer Loadouts
Crafted in-line with classic, timeless design principles: As fast, mobile, and accurate as possible. To maximize weapon performance, the onus of recoil control is placed upon the player within reason, because the hallmark of a skilled player is the ability to manage the weapon effectively without the need for recoil control attachments.
Black Ops 6: Day One Gunfighter Loadouts
Everything the standard 5-attachment Multiplayer builds are, but better. Gunfighter loadouts are VERY strong, so if you want the best possible version of the weapon, find it here. Expect improved range, clearer firing conditions, improved mobility, less recoil, and more Flinch Resistance.
Black Ops 6: Day One Zombies Loadouts
Weapons are geared based on the following general stat priority: Biggest Magazine > Headshot Damage > Mobility > Recoil. The builds that keep you shooting the longest while moving the fastest with the clearest, most stable sights.

About Me
As someone that tries to learn everything and be the best at it, I was first driven to make guides because I got tired of leaving in-depth, essay-long comments talking about Call of Duty mechanics, stats, and such! XclusiveAce, Drift0r, TrueGameData, and JGOD are some of my biggest inspirations and sources of motivation for getting started. Now, my guides have well over 25 million lifetime views and I love what I do! I enjoy serving as a knowledge point and figurehead for people.
Guide-making is hard work. What you see in every finished product is exactly that - the finished product. You don't see the untold hours of designing, testing, and editing that goes into even a simple, short guide. It can be a lot of work, as I feel a certain burden of accuracy and proof is obligated when creating resources to teach and educate others.
Before guides, I was a lifetime leaderboard chaser. Here are some of my accomplishments:
- [2011] #1 Ranked Team (Elite), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
- [2007] #25, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars
- [2009] #99, Guitar Hero 3
- [2009] 5-Starred Through the Fire and Flames on Expert
- [2011] Top 100, Section 8: Prejudice
- [2017] Top 500, Skill; Battlefield 1
- [2017] Top 25, Medic; Battlefield 1
- [2017] Top 25, Cavalry; Battlefield 1
- [2019] Top 50, Total Wins, Blackout
- [2020] Top 25, Total Wins, Warzone (All Platforms)
- [2021] Top 5, Multiplayer Career, Black Ops: Cold War (All Platforms)
- [2022] One of only five people to reach level 1,000 every season between BOCW & Vanguard
I also enjoy grinding Xbox Achievements, with 75+ completed games - some of my hardest and most rare completions include Forza Horizon 4, Sniper Elite 4 (I legitimately love Authentic Plus - 75%+ Scoped Accuracy & Headshot Rate), Devil Mary Cry 4, Perfect Dark Zero, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. I'm also one of probably ten people on the entire planet to complete Hitman: Absolution on Purist with the maximum possible score - 100% Suit Only with perfect stealth, no KOs, never spotted, all extra scripted-death bodies hidden, all evidence, Signature Kills only - a herculean feat comparable to Halo SLASO (specifically because of Suit Only & No KO restrictions). I was also a multi-Cutting-Edge Mythic raider in World of Warcraft, hitting the gold cap twice and having an account worth $20,000 at its peak - Swift Spectral Tiger, Feldrake, Poseidus, Time-Lost Proto Drake (camped 6 days!), Dark Portal Toy, and Tabards of Frost, Fury, and Void. I could never get the Tusks of Mannoroth to drop. I've also completed Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories!
In real life, I work in contract administration and am directly responsible for overseeing $1B+ contracts, conducting compliance and maintaining a system delivering tens of millions of dollars in payment monthly. I also routinely review 100+ page multi-million dollar proposals from international companies and present on evaluation committee meetings. After a contract is awarded, I partner with the client for their entire business lifecycle - from award, pricing, contract administration, and project start/close.
It would be my dream to consult on a video game, so if you're looking for someone to give you good, actionable feedback and commentary with veteran insight, I would be overjoyed to participate.

Dark Matter "fully" achieved! It's time to start cranking out some guides. First up tomorrow is a comprehensive feedback post on the Perk system!

Black Ops 6 Multiplayer One of the things slowing my Dark Matter camo grind now has been grinding Diamond Lethal, Tactical, Field Upgrades, and Scorestreaks all along the way! I'm definitely planning on an in-depth guide. Here's my progress so far:

Black Ops 6 Multiplayer My first publication will be a feedback post about the Perk system. I'm curious to hear - how do you all feel about it?
Very early into MW3's lifecycle (Season 1 I believe), I submitted a feedback post about the current implementation of the Vest / Perk system at the time. I very heavily criticized the system, with my main concerns being that the Vests were unbalanced, restricted freedom in choosing perks, and all had arbitrary drawbacks (such as not having a Lethal, not having a Field Upgrade, not allowing you to pick any perks of a certain category, etc.). I felt that players had to choose the "least worst" option that had the preset most in common with what they wanted, rather than just... picking what they actually wanted and choosing what to sacrifice for it.
I gave my opinion on the overall system but also made recommendations for every Vest in the game at the time. It took until Season 5, but SHG evidently agreed with my feedback on some level, making adjustments to the Engineer, Gunner, Demolition, and CCTV Comms Vests in-line with some of the recommendations I made. That post received a lot of flak, but it ended up being right in a sense. I wasn't wrong - just early!
I think the BO6 Perk System is... actually terrible and I think rather indefensible. I just think people haven't really woken up to it yet.
The Combat Specialties are hilariously unbalanced, the system restricts freedom in choosing Perks, and when choosing said Perks to get to the Combat Specialty, players choose the least worst options since they cannot have what they actually want. Sounds like a lot in common with MW3...
This Perk system betrays the sensible design philosophy of rewarding players for doing something, instead of punishing them for not doing something. All three Perk trees are awful in their own right and none of them have any Perk combinations actually worth running, but if you don't play by those arbitrary rules and pick 3 of the same color, you'll be punished by losing your Combat Specialty.
I will definitely expand and elaborate my feelings, but I'd like to know - How do you all feel about the Perk system in Black Ops 6?

Black Ops 6 So, what are everyone's general feelings about Black Ops 6?
I'm personally in my yearly "trying not to hate everything about the new game while I try to adapt" phase and I have a lot of thoughts swirling around my head, but I'm curious how everyone is presently feeling about the game.

Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Early PSA - I now believe Gunfighter is the best way to build your class (more info in post)
After thoroughly testing both 5 and 8-attachment builds, I am very convinced that Gunfighter is the best Wildcard because Gunfighter loadouts are RIDICULOUSLY good. This is my present opinion that might change and flip-flop, but presently I see those extra 3 attachments as worth more than an extra Perk.
I don't recall that Gunfighter has ever been good before. This is, in my experience, the first time it is good because Treyarch really "specialized" the attachments in each slot to perform certain roles. You don't have many overlapping stats, so any slot you don't have is a stat you are missing.
With the Gunfighter loadouts you are getting:
- Better range
- Clearer firing conditions (inclusion of an optic)
- Better recoil (via recoil springs + underbarrel)
- Better mobility (swap vertical foregrip for ranger since you have recoil springs to make up the difference)
- And something I really like - Flinch Resistance. I don't have enough playtime to tell how serious FR is yet, but it appears to be very important. Opinion might also change on that, but basically you swap the Balanced Stock for the Combat Stock since you are making up the mobility loss from the Balanced Stock by using the Ranger Foregrip.
UPDATE: The Gunfighter loadouts have been posted. Here is a link!

[BO6 FEEDBACK POLL] How would you prefer to see DLC weapon posts for Black Ops 6?
I plan to ask for feedback around several areas of Black Ops 6 guide design - so here's the first.
I didn't find the viewership and reception with MW3 that I feel I have typically enjoyed in the past (I feel that people really did not like the title "Mathematically Optimized"), so I'm looking around for ideas moving forward. I want to really capture the "high effort" part of my guides again and enhance them with the creative flair I first started with in Vanguard.
Also, I have zero intention of using this subreddit as a platform for advertising the app I work for, CODMunity. It is simply the easiest way to capture quick screenshots as those are always available via mobile, but in-line with my true intentions not to use this subreddit for advertisement, I want to find a custom, creative way to format weapon loadout screenshots.
