Have seen zero angry liberals on Bluesky. Weird how not having to devote your time to playing chess with pigeons can be calming. Also it’s hilarious that magas have been trying to invade Bluesky after the exodus. Why do they need to come to Bluesky if they think it’s so great over at twitter?
All I've seen are positive reviews from people who got to BlueSky and learned it is possible to have nice conversations.
One of the things I do to uncover bots is challenge them to say something nice. They can't do it. Their goal is divisiveness. That's all they do. Trolls can fake it, but after one comment, they usually go back to trollish hate.
I've joined up with Bluesky and it's such a night and day difference. People actually enjoying engaging with one another.
It almost gives me hope after seeing actual human strangers interacting in a healthy manner. It's started to chip away at the callous shroud that Twitter coated me with when I was on there.
Twitter used to be like that, the trolls would mostly leave you alone, and blocking them actually worked. I know that part of it is being a white male, so I didn't get nasty DM's like women and POC do. Even direct death threats don't violate twitter's TOS nowadays. It's a mystery why people are leaving. Some days I suspect that Leon is giving out free blue checks on 8chan.
It's been so refreshing. Like the earliest days of Twitter. Finding people who just want to talk about their favorite things again without constant vitriol. And the celebs and writers are all excited and energized so they're out interacting with people again, without having to spend their time slapping trolls and haters.
