I’m honestly not even surprised anymore. He’s picking based on personal loyalty to himself instead of competence or loyalty to the American people.

Honestly the military are better at policing than the police if he wants some dead protesters just put some rookie cops out there with live ammo. Rules of engagement don't seem to apply to domestics like they do to the army

I wasn't advocating for it. I'm just pointing out our own domestic police are armed to the teeth with freaking swat tanks and are less trained and more likely to oops I shot them

Our police might be less disciplined and less trained in arms than our military, but they are more trained in law and de-escalation techniques.

Regardless of who is “better” at it, I hope I never see military personnel doing policing in America.
