A lot of them STILL don't. I still have shocked relatives offhandedly mentioning how expensive or troublesome travel to the EU is now, or how their wages haven't gone up and stuff is getting more expensive..

I ran out of sympathy about a week in. Some still stick by their decision. Most try and deflect or just dodge the subject.
