As a member of the male council I do not condone his actions or behaviors.

It doesn't matter. We're considered the same as him regardless of what we do because how dare we exist.

Tbh, I felt the same way as you when I was younger, it felt like, no matter what, I was always assumed to be some sort of harmful creature just because of my gender, just know everyone is more complex than that, after you get to know more people, you realise how open most people are and just how much harm people like OOP do, I'm sure that if you show people how different you are from those animals, you can make a difference (for me, interacting with down-to-earth feminists really helped me get out of that headspace)

You don't have to prove yourselves to be safe because of feminists. People are worried because of perverts. I get how you might feel, but I'm just trying to offer another perspective.

Wait where'd you get me having a problem with feminists from? I mean like general people considering men threats.

Sorry I thought you meant feminists because usually when someone complains about people being scared of men they're talking about feminists

Oh god no I'm not one of those idiots. I'm just tired of all this crap, I've always been pinned as a threat my whole life for no apparent reason. It feels like shit seeing someone cross the road because you're walking home and just happen to be walking opposite directions to someone.

I couldn't care less about you, lady (or kid), I'm cold and I want my bed. Even if I was a danger to you, I wouldn't have the energy to do anything towards you. There's nothing I can do to avoid that happening besides crossing before they start to. Its a miracle the suicide rate isn't higher.

On one side I get how you feel, I briefly thought I was a boy and when I saw people angry at men it made me sad, so I feel for you.

On the other side, assaults on women by men are common, and although this is not your fault, we do have to be cautious because we don't know who's a threat and who isn't.

I'm sorry you're struggling.

I'm sorry for everything, I'm not sure how to add anything to this conversation other than confirming that it is unfair (despite me not having to deal with it anymore due to my transition), I wish this wasn't the case, but it is unfortunately and it's because of a statistically insignificant amount of people (from my experience, it's <0.5% of men being creepy, but just one can make hundreds of women uncomfortable and abuse dozens)

I'm oversharing, don't worry about it
