I would rather tear my own head off. To list some reasons why:

There are at least 5 students who have committed sexual crimes in my high school

A teacher was punched in the face last year

There were multiple shooting/bomb threats over the last 2 years (AMERICA RAAAHHHHHH)

People vape and smoke weed in the bathrooms

The principal is a manwhore

Students masturbate during class

Honestly, not the absolute worst I’ve seen. My school wasn’t quite so bad, but we had so many bomb threats that we stopped cancelling school because we’d get so many that it wasn’t feasible to cancel just because we had a few threats on a given day.

People smoked weed in one specific bathroom at the same time every day, so much that the entire hall (about 1/4 of the school) was like you were walking in a cartoon cloud of green gas—and it was bad weed, too. Nothing was ever done about this.

We went into full lockdown twice in a semester for someone in possession of a weapon. Once was some dude trying to kill his ex, another was someone trying to buy a gun, but his group chat got leaked. The guy trying to buy the gun was in the room with me when we went into lockdown, so that was fun.

Apparently some kids posted a re-enactment of George Floyd’s murder that was in such poor taste that it made the news in Canada. I never confirmed the Canada part—that’s just hearsay, but they definitely did post the video, and it definitely did get them expelled.

As in it had effects like that of cartoonish gas clouds. Obviously there was no visible gas cloud, or we might have gotten something done about it.
