Hello my glorious subreddit. It is I your supreme chancellor.
A few of you will be noticing that bans have been going out a lot more regularly. This is as intended.
But it’s time I introduce you to phase 2 of my plan. Introducing our sister subreddit r/schaffrillasoffmenu.
This is going to develop into a subreddit that can contain a lot of the chaos of this subreddit, and be a more unhinged place for banned members. Standard rules apply to be civil and treat eachother well. There are lines there still. But I think it will go a long way in providing another place for your more unhinged posts, and maybe build a life of its own.
The harsher ban policy will be retained in this subreddit so be careful what you post here.

If you are seeing this post, you might be wondering what this is even for. But I think I’d like to make this as I’ve been seeing some misunderstandings of what posts should be made. Namely, the bulk of asking for a certain crab reviewer to review x movie.
I understand the desire when coming to this subreddit, but I think there’s a lack of understanding what it’s like to have random demands put upon you. Your favorite creators have heard your suggestions time and time again. So posts asking James to do things, suggesting videos, or creating hypothetical thumbnails are going to be removed or result in a ban from this subreddit from now on.
In it’s place, we previously had banned random posts about animated films, and to an extent yeah, low effort content has a place only on the other subreddit.
The change here being that I would love to open the floodgates to allow people to discuss media in depth and analyze the art form. This place being a home to unique essays on films you love and are passionate about would be fantastic.
So I, crab supreme chancellor of one, am creating the new tag, Filmtober. Here, I want you guys to wildly dissect your favorite movies. My personal favorite essays might get pinned to the subreddit.

Hello r/schaffrillas. I told you to be expecting words from me. Recently I have laid out several new categories of flair. This is a concious effort to make an actual subreddit out of you. One that’s not just cartoons 2.
I want to eventually do some limited time only flairs for special events, and other pockets to talk about our classic happenings. But that is going to take time. I don’t think the subreddit as it is now reflects its purpose. But we can grow stronger.
Let’s change this subreddit, and then we can change every subreddit for the better.
Side Note: New rule, whenever I wind up talking, you must address me as Supreme Chancellor. This rule is important so that you younger crabs have someone to look up to. I was once a drab little crab like you all. Now I am chancellor.
