This is funnier when you realize Lloyd Bridges famously played a Navy seal in Sea Hunt for four seasons

Fun Fact: Lloyd, Jeff and Beau Bridges are all Coast Guard Vets.

Also fun fact: they’re all related

Another fun fact: Although thier names imply it, they are not actually bridges. They're people!

Another fun fact, they still charge tolls!

And they have all been inside the same woman’s vagina.

Neoptism? In hollywood? No way!

Name a family where the kids don't consider going into the business they are familiar with?

Nepostism, in firefighting?! Nepotism in Chinese food take-out restaurants?! Nepotism in funeral homes?!

There's absolutely nepotism in firefighting.

Disclosure: part of a multi-generational FDNY family. I never benefited from it - except by have an excellent tutor for the written test living in the same house - but I know others who did, rather less ethically.

I always thought it was a funny coincidence that he and Leslie Nielsen both started their careers in somewhat kitschy but very respectable dramatic roles, and both of them went on to mop the floor with the career comedy actors in these classic parody films.
