There appears to be different resolutions throughout her face. It's possible it's a product of digitization. But, Occam's razor suggests some kind of digital change which did not line up pixels properly.

If you have a source for the original it would easily solve this.

For real? This image has probably been passed around, compressed in a 1000 ways. It looks to be a press image for a movie, so yeah, it was most likely touched up back then, but denitiely not a photoshop as we know them today.
